Review of Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi.

Placements: I feel the course gives us a good basic understanding of programming and other things. I also think students have to put in extra effort by themselves to improve their coding by working on projects, building communication skills, and looking for internships. Since my batch hasn't graduated yet, I don't really know about the placement figures.

Infrastructure: In this college, the thing I like the most is the infrastructure for my course because there are labs that can be used. In the labs, there are good working computers, which are also important for us students. Wi-Fi is also pretty good around here. As I don't stay in the hostel, I don't really know about it.

Faculty: For MW, I would say they are not that bad but not too good. some teachers are very good, and some are just straight-on mean, but the way they teach is good. I feel like the curriculum is relevant and gives a good foundation for the programme.

Other: I chose this course because I have always liked computer science. The campus is free and big.

Not value for money. Can explore better choices.

Placements: Currently, in my year, no one is placed. About my seniors, I don't think anybody is placed from the college. Talking about the percentage of students placed over the years, it is like about 10–15 percent. The placement cell is not active on a large scale that it can bring more companies. The highest package I can recall is near about 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent. One thing I'd like to mention is that there is no hostel facility in this college. Talking about technology, Wi-Fi is provided, but it's useless as the internet cannot be accessed. Labs are decent. In the new building, only 3 out of 7 floors are accessible, and many facilities like new labs, the library, and conference rooms are not accessible.

Faculty: Teachers, I would say, are well-qualified, helpful, and supportive. Especially the female staff is very supportive and masters in their domain. Regular assignments and projects are handed over, and the assessment of your marks is fair enough. Overall, the teaching staff is convenient. Semester exams are moderate and not too hard to crack. But I don't think the curriculum is producing industry-ready students, in that aspect, it fails.

Other: I chose this course as, obviously, I didn't get B.Tech. The best thing is that the syllabus is similar to B.Tech. Industry-ready skills and advanced use of technology would be something that could be better. Events and fests are below average. Not recommended for extracurriculars in this college, but one caution: attendance is very strict. You need to maintain a certain percentage, or you won't be eligible for exams. Also, if you think of doing an internship with the college, you won't be able to do it, as college hours are about 8–9 hours long.

Placements: The placement package in our course at Aryabhatta College is 3–5 LPA. Top roles include Data Analytics, Data Science, and Web Development. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Aryabhatta College is quite decent. It has all the necessities and facilities that should be provided in a college. There are water coolers, ACs in labs, a library, a canteen, a medical room, a sports room, a game room, and computer labs.

Faculty: Faculty of this college is quite helpful and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The teaching quality is very commendable. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready after graduation. The semester exams are moderate. Students can pass them if they put in basic effort.

Good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placement is very average at the college. Not a lot of students get opportunities in the industry. Computer Science students can't get good internships, which are important for their careers. Internship and placement opportunities are very important for students.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. The college has clean classrooms, a nice library, and good labs. Wi-Fi is also available. The crowd is good. The canteen is well-maintained. Students have to look for a place to live. There is no hostel.

Faculty: Faculty is good and experienced. They teach well and listen to students. They are helpful to students. Sometimes, a few teachers can be uncooperative, but most teachers are helpful. The course curriculum is manageable and provides relevant information to students.

Other: Overall, the college is good in terms of fests and events.

Good college with supportive faculty and decent infrastructure.

Placements: The placement opportunities in my course are decent. Around 80% of students get placed. The highest package is around 20 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. The average package is around 8 LPA. The common roles offered are Software Developer, Web Developer, Technical Support, and other IT-related roles.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available. The classrooms are well-maintained. Computer labs are also available. The college has a library with a huge collection of books for study. The food in the mess and canteen is average but manageable. Medical facilities are available for students. Sports facilities are also available for students.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They explain the topics properly. The curriculum is useful. It covers the important subjects needed for the course. However, some practical exposure could be better. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. Regular preparation is enough to pass. Overall, the teaching and examination system is good.

Overall, a good experience with academics & college environment, but not-so-good campus placement.

Placements: The placement opportunities for our course are not that good. Companies do come to our campus, but not for our course. The top roles offered through our course would be in teaching, media, HR, and many more. The percentage of students who get placed in our college is around 10 percent for our course only.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good. We have clean washrooms, 4–5 labs, and in our new building, there are even more labs that are under construction. The canteen is pretty good, and its food is tasty. I just don't like the selection of DU. It is the most crowded, creates noise pollution and pollution as well, and has posters everywhere.

Faculty: Faculty in our course is really good. Our teachers are really encouraging and supportive compared to other departments. They share their knowledge with us. Semester exams are pretty much of a moderate level. The passing criteria are 67 percent, I think.

Other: Recently, there has been a big fee hike of Rs. 5000, which is not that good for us. The crowd at the college is pretty good.

Dissatisfied because of the administration.

Placements: For the CS department, there are no placements that the college provides. The college does not even give LORs to 2nd-year and 1st-year students who get internships. They provide some internships for Commerce, but they do not give any placement opportunities to the CS department.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel for anyone. Secondly, the college has Wi-Fi, but it rarely works, so it is not very useful. Labs are good. There are a total of 5 labs. There is a canteen, and the food is decent. There are medical facilities, a girls' common room, and washrooms in every building.

Faculty: Teachers in the CS department are very kind, generous, and helpful towards their students. The curriculum of DU is outdated for CS students. They make students touch the subjects from far away but do not go deep into them. The syllabus and curriculum do not make students industry-ready at all.

Other: I chose this course because it pushes my limits every day, and I love that. I think practical learning and outside exposure should be added to our curriculum. Fests are amazing here. The campus crowd is good. There is no ragging, and it is safe for girls. Scholarships are available based on both category and annual income.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Computer Science course is good with computer labs and classrooms. The college offers the necessary infrastructure needed for study purposes. There are no hostel facilities at the campus, so students have to make their own arrangements.
