A great place to pursue excellence.
Placements: Almost 85% of the whole batch was placed in the year 2022-23. In civil engineering branch, the average package has been around 14 Lacs CTC, and the highest was 30 Lacs CTC. The core companies that hire from our branch are Larsen & Toubro, Medibuddy, etc. Many people are offered jobs in consulting domain, software developed domain and core domain.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well built but lack some of the basic facilities, such as washing machines, electric stove and a refrigerator etc. Almost every fortnight a foul sell coming from the nearby dump yard fill up the entire campus. Food is decent, but students have sometimes complain about lack of variety and repeating dishes, along with some cases of insects being found in the food every now and then. The Wi-Fi has a very low speed, however, the Ethernet has a quite fast speed.
Faculty: Teachers are always ready to help students and try to indulge with them, regarding any matter, whether it is academics or student projects, mentorship is provided at all times. The curriculum is quite modern and new methodologies of teaching are being adopted by the institute at the first chance. Examinations are quite easy to pass and most of the students do not face any difficult in doing so.
Other: The campus is located in a bit outskirts of the Hyderabad city, and connectivity to the city is restricted to mostly buses and rickshaw.

It is a very good place for the all-round development of the students.
Placements: Most of the students from our course got placed, while placements are good in CSE and IT branches. Placements are decent in other fields also. The practice school programme provides internships for every student. Every student has to do internships two times, i.e., in the summer break after the second year for 2 months and in the fourth year for one semester duration. In civil engineering, core roles were offered in the field of design. Some students got pre-placement offers after their internship in the fourth year.
Infrastructure: All the facilities which are expected from a top college are available in our college. There are two messes with decent quality food. There are also many avenues for students to play and eat. We were with single occupancy rooms with internet facility in every room. Sports facilities are also good here.
Faculty: There are very qualified professors, and they are very much knowledgeable. Teachers were very helpful, and the course curriculum is well flexible. There is constant up-gradation of course curriculum according to the needs of the industry. Practice school is good for students to surely become industry-ready.

Review of BITS - Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements are good for software and analytics related courses. Placements are decent for electrical students. But, it is a bit difficult for the other core branch students to get placed. Getting placed in some company is certainly possible, but it might be difficult to get placed in core companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and pleasantly addicting. The auditorium and library are the best. Every requirement of students is fulfilled in the college. In our final year, we felt congested in the campus as the total strength of students has increased. I hope the construction work which was in progress then, is completed by now. Sports and gym facilities are also good.
Faculty: Every faculty member is highly qualified in their field. You have an option to choose most of the courses other than the compulsory ones. You can try other courses as well as per your interest, and also you can choose the faculty. The college has a zero attendance policy.
Other: The time spent during fests is the best, especially at nights as the concerts are organised. The management collects money from students for fests. Except this, everything else in the college is wonderful.

Placements: The placements in our college in the CS department is very good comparative to other departments. In other departments, there is a chance that you will get placed in good companies but packages will not be something to brag about. There is an opportunity that you can excel in minors like finance or physics or maths and hence you can get a job in those fields, as far as I have heard from my seniors.
Infrastructure: This college is situated on the outskirts of Hyderabad and so there is a lot of space for the administration to expand the premises of the college. Our college is very well-equipped in terms of both the academic amenities and the extracurricular requirements like sports, and places to eat and hang out. The library is definitely eye-catching. This college is located on a higher level so it gives a nice view. The old hostel rooms are okay not so flashy and the new hostels that were built this year are like hotels, believe it. A lot of structures are under construction, especially a swimming pool. We have an auditorium with a capacity of more than 1000 and better than most of the cinema halls in India.
Faculty: There is no compulsion in attending the college. The course is quite elaborate. Maths is one of the fields mostly focussed in the college. The departments of each branch are well-constructed with all kinds of equipment. Faculty members are quite helpful and supportive with all kind of knowledge required for the course but the course is quite tiresome. Then also, the grading system is not quite appreciating.

Satisfactory placements in 2015, awesome infrastructure, experienced teachers.
Placements: Being an undergraduate student in civil engineering, one generally does not have high package expectations. The experience makes you credible enough to bang a job and as a graduate trainee, you need to learn a lot of on-field things at your first job. Recently, companies like L&T Constructions, BES Structurals, InfraKing etc. visited our campus for civil placements. The range of the packages is Rs. 3.5 LPA to Rs. 5.8 LPA. In case of core branches, such packages are assumed to be really good. Around 20% of students got an internship from colleges in several companies including thyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions.
Infrastructure: BITS is known for its infrastructure. Starting from classrooms to hostel bathrooms, every place is so captivating that one would fall in love with this place at the first glance. Our entire campus is WiFi enabled. Medical facilities and sports activities are above average. The classrooms are huge, having a capacity of 250 students. The overall ambience is likeable.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and hardworking. It is a combination of young and experienced professors. The best part is that all of the faculty is well versed with campus culture and they understand the students' point of view. Their interaction with us outside the classroom is an epitome of teacher-student relation.
Other: No attendance is one of the great things about our campus. The extra curricular exposure is immense and one can use this opportunity to develop himself holistically. We have not only produced engineers but amazing managers across the globe. To sum up, one can say that studying in BITS is magic!

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements for bachelors degree in civil are not highly paid. But still, you can expect about 4-5 LPA for sure. More than 50% students get placed. For ME, the percentage is even higher. L & T, Ashoka builders, Infrabeam came for the placements.
Students with excellence in academics can also apply for various foreign scholarships. Top two student from the batch are eligible to apply for S.N Bose scholarship.
Further, if you want to prepare for IES and GATE. The campus provides an excellent environment.
Infrastructure: Bits-Pilani, Hyderabad campus is spread over a huge area. It has all the facilities anyone can think of for an institute. Wi-Fi facility is there in the labs, classrooms and library.
Single rooms are provided for students in the hostel. Plus, in the hostels, LAN port is there in every room to access the internet with a daily limit of 4GB.
Some hostels even have 4G Wi-Fi facility. Medical facility is available 24* 7.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. The course structure is very judicially designed for better learning outcomes. Teachers often use power points to deliver lectures and board and marker to explain the concepts.
The student to faculty ratio is decent enough. In a class, we have 30-40 students.
Teachers are very friendly and will always be willing to help. We often have industry visits to have a better understanding of the concepts.

We are the best college in Hyderabad, and we have the best faculty.
Placements: About 93% of students got placements. The highest package was 55 lakhs, with Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, and L&T being a few of the top companies. We have over 500 companies visiting our campus, and we are offered some of the best roles with an average package of 13 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The hostels may be a little old, but they are maintained to a great quality. We get up to 10 GB of data every day. Compared to other colleges, we have one of the best mess facilities. If you don't like the food in the mess or if you get bored eating the same food every week, no worries—we have more than five food outlets on campus.
Faculty: The exams are moderately difficult, which helps make students industry-ready. Our invigilation is very strict; if we are caught doing anything wrong, it can lead to a setback, putting us on hold for an entire semester. Our professors are the best; they are very knowledgeable, and we can freely ask any doubts without any worries.
Other: We have one of the best cultural fests. For our last cultural fest, we had Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Vijay Devarakonda.

I love my college and very happy to be a part of this college.
Placements: In our course, there are not as many jobs as in CSE. Indian IT sector made good progress in building IT companies to India apart from local consulting companies which already cater to the needs of the clients worldwide. IT sector companies need a huge workforce and can afford high salary packages because these companies are USA based. India is not working to increase manufacturing companies or invest in new infrastructure much which require civil engineers. South Korea or Taiwan are small countries, but they manufacture high-quality products. They have huge infrastructure development, which always needs civil engineers. India got talent people, but I feel there are incompetent leaders who don't have the vision to develop India and lead to current stage even though we got independence back in 1947. However, there is another area to invest, i.e., in R&D which will create many jobs, but India can't afford to do that because of the huge population and less resources.
Infrastructure: Students who seek admission in BITS Pilani and its other campuses at Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai can find the BITSAT 2020 fee structure here. Students have to deposit the fees in the institute at the time of admission as per the BITSAT fee structure 2020. Students must note that BITS fee is the same for all first degree programs which include B.Tech, B. Pharma and M.Sc, but it is different for all four campuses. BITS fee has to be paid semester wise while there are some fees which are to be paid annually. Students must note that they have to pay the BITS fees after the allotment of admissions, but if they fail to pay, then their admission will get cancelled. Students can pay BITSAT fees 2020 in online mode through credit or debit card, net banking or E-challan.
Faculty: Our college has a committed academician with over 17 years of experience at leading Indian academic institutions, teaching students from various social and cultural backgrounds. That academician possesses excellent administrative, verbal communication and written skills along with constructive and effective teaching methods which promote a stimulating learning environment. He is able to work in a managerial role or as part of a team and have proven ability that he works successfully in hectic schedules and deadlines. Currently, he is looking for suitable research and academic opportunities in universities or colleges of further education. He is highly interested in collaborating and sharing work ideas with eminent researchers and academicians in India and abroad.

NIOS has been established by an act of the parliament and is competent to award certificates to students who are passing out. Association of Indian universities also have accorded approval for this certificate. This whole information is available on the website of NIOS.

Focus on NCERT if you haven't done any preparations yet. Most of the portion will be from that only. Apart from that, you can refer to some references books like "Arihant BITSAT" or any other popular publications and start solving questions from there. BITSAT is all about practice, you need speed an

Year by year, the cutoff for admission is increasing in BITS. 2 years ago, I would have considered 300+ a safe score to get admission into BITS, Pilani. Last year, cutoff was 296 for M.Sc Biology at Hyderabad campus. The cutoff for all other branches at any of the three campuses was more than this (

It is absolutely up to you which stream you wish to choose. All streams are different and have their own positives and negatives. If you have a specific interest in any field, choose that field without any doubt. If you don't, and you just want a good package once you leave college, then definitely
