Satisfied with infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements are the best part of BITS Hyderabad. Over 90% of the students get placed every year into different companies of different domains. Almost every student gets atleast 2 job offers from the on-campus placement. Internships are provided by the college through their summer internship programme of Practice School at the end of 2nd and 3rd year. The highest package has been 60 Lacs and median package was 18 LPA for the current year.

Infrastructure: The labs, classrooms and library have A/CS in them. The hostel, however, does not have A/CS. The hostels provided to the freshers are all double sharing. By 3rd year, all the students get a single room for themselves. The first-year hostel for boys has common rooms, common green area, but the hostel lacks basic facilities like washing machines, stove, and elevator. The mess has good food and it is changed every month.

Faculty: Students can conduct a research based projects under professors as per their interests right from the first year. Some professors are good at teaching, but this cannot be said for all the teachers. However, all the faculty is highly qualified, having Ph.D. from reputable universities from all around the globe. The exams are mostly application based, and so conceptual learning is favored by the teachers.

Other: The M.Sc. Physics programme at BITS Hyderabad has a decent reputation across India. The campus is a bit on the outskirts of the main city of Hyderabad, so one can face issues to travel to the main city.

Our college provides good facilities, infrastructure, and placements.

Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed in this course. The average salary package offered was 16 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 24 LPA - 25 LPA. Many companies visit our college for on-campus placements. Around 100% of students got internships in this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, and our campus has 270 acres of land. Wi-Fi is enabled on campus, and the internet speed is great. Games like cricket, football, hockey, kabaddi, swimming pool, basketball, and volleyball are also available. Hostels are cleaned every 2-3 days, and there is greenery all around our campus. The library has many books, and we also have an e-journal. Our library is very peaceful.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. They always put their best efforts to make us understand every concept. Our course curriculum is relevant to make us ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult. If we study daily then we can easily crack exams.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Fests are also conducted. Our campus life is very good.

Absolutely Amazing College!

Placements: The best placements ever. Work hard for it and you'll get a good company to offer you a placement. The point is that Bits gives equal opportunities to everybody and that's important. Those who work towards what they want to do, get their dream company/ college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The college is well maintained and stunning. Hyderabad is amongst all the three campuses is the most well maintained campus that I have seen. The surroundings are clean, classrooms are neat too and the hostels are also very clean.

Faculty: The course and curriculum is also spectacular. The faculty members are very helpful in whatever we do like projects and even academics. The faculty members themselves are very knowledgeable about the subjects that they are teaching and thus it becomes a helpful experience for all.

100% satisfied in every aspect of campus life. Well worth the money.

Placements: BITS has 100% placement opportunity through its practice school program in addition to the campus placements. Most of the campus jobs are for software or analyst profile, there are also core jobs. All students have a compulsory 1-year internship. The highest pay was > 20 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA and the average is 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi. Labs have the latest technology, the library is one of the largest in India and we have a large auditorium. Sports and gym facilities are top notch. There is a campus medical officer available at any time for help, with basic amenities. The food is great with north and south Indian dishes. There is an all night canteen also, for late night snacks. There are a lot of shops in the CP, for any need. Hostel rooms are good. There were no issues during my stay.

Faculty: Faculty members are experts in their domain with several years of experience in teaching and research. Teachers use the latest technology to facilitate learning, there is telepresence based learning where teachers can interact with students from any campus. Student to faculty ratio varies, based on the course. Usually for core courses and tutorials it is 30:1. I had industry exposure via PS 1 (2 months) and PS2 courses (6 months), where I interned at two companies in my subject area.

Other: BITS Hyderabad is an amazing college, there is an opportunity for learning and great exposure to the industry. There is an emphasis on developing soft skills also in addition to learning.There is a nice and friendly interaction with the faculty, who reside on campus. There is good discipline and freedom to follow your passions. The students are also very good. Seniors are also friendly and helpful. The quality of teaching especially in my subject - Physics can not be understated. There is a thorough emphasis on learning the basics. The labs are also top notch. The faculty are reputed with works in high impact journals.
