Review of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.
Placements: Our college has good placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average. The quality of good is good. Rooms are good to stay in. The college has good environment.
Faculty: Our teachers are good but not very talented. We should study ourselves. They won't help much beyond academics. Exams are easy to pass if we seek the help of our seniors.

Review of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements in the CSE branch are outstanding. About 98% of students got placed in our department. The highest salary package of 21 LPA was offered by Juspay, and the lowest of 4.5 LPA was offered by Nokia. The top recruiting companies are Accenture and Infosys. Very few students got on-campus internships. The top roles offered are cyber security engineer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. It has very old libraries. There is nothing modern on campus. Sports facilities are not good as there are not any coaches or instructors for games like badminton and kho-kho. Only the cricket team has a coach. The hostel is not good. The food is not tasty.
Faculty: Teachers in this institution are very good, which is an advantage. They are very interactive. The course offered at this college is very helpful as it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams as the same in other colleges in Bangalore. They are very tough as students get backlogs in subjects.
Other: I chose that course because it has great potential and it provides good salary packages.

Great campus life and good college experience.
Placements: The placement percentage is 95% in Ise whereas 100% in CSE as per the college information. The highest package from Ise last year was 12Lakhs per annum. Companies like Wipro, Tally solutions, Nokia, TCS and many other companies visited the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi in the hostel and you can college access Wi-Fi only in the library. The infrastructure is not bad. Classrooms are good enough and coming to the hostel the food will be decent enough and not bad. There is a big ground for games and full of greenery.
Faculty: Teachers are good and students always maintain a healthy relationship with faculty. Some of the faculty are greatly experienced and they have been working for the past few years which is a good sign for a better and quality education, finally, the faculty is good.
Other: There are many interesting courses offered by the college and its pretty good.

Teaching is good here, but placements are average.
Placements: Placements are fine. To get a good job, you have to try off-campus drives. For campus placements, mass recruiting firms will come. They will not offer good packages. The college doesn't provide good job opportunities. The average salary package offered in CSE and IT is only 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge. It is on almost 133 acres, but the infrastructure is very old. The campus has greenery. Hostels are not up to the mark. The food is pathetic. The food in the canteen is good. The college has a big library. There are playgrounds. Laboratories need improvement.
Faculty: The teaching is good. If you study well, this college is worth it. Some teachers are good and supportive. They make you learn new skills and enhance your thinking abilities. Teachers support students to do internships and participate in many hackathons.
Other: You can learn new skills at this college. Overall, campus life is good. There are many clubs, like a dance club, a music club, a coding club, a debate club, and more. Regular sessions on topics like cyber security, personality development, and entrepreneurship are held. Because academics are strict, festivals are held only on rare occasions.

Our college provides good placements, but infrastructure is not good.
Placements: More than 95% of students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Pegasus, Nokia, Target, etc. The minimum salary package offered was 10 LPA. All the students get internships before 4th year.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is old-fashioned. We have a huge campus but there is no compound. Wi-Fi speed is low, and it also provides a library. ISE and CSE have shared the laboratory. Some equipment is old, but there is no equipment for few experiments. Classrooms are decent, and a new library is also constructed. Hostel is not good because of the monkeys, sometimes they even enter rooms to snatch food, especially in the girls' hostel. Hostel room facilities are good. Rooms are spacious and some rooms have attached washrooms. Hot water is available 24X7 depending on the hostel unit. Unit 1 is for freshers, and it also has 2 sharing common washrooms, and 24X7 hot water is available. The 2nd and 3rd unit has 3 sharing, and hot water is available only from 6.00 AM to 9.00 AM, 3rd unit has attached washrooms as well. The food served in the hostel is good, and the hostel fee is very reasonable. There are 2 auditoriums but they are small. Our campus is huge, but infrastructure is poor.
Faculty: Our college follows VTU course curriculum. But teachers encourage and guide us to do more courses and projects, and build extra skills. Teachers teach according to our needs and take our opinions as well. We get a lot of time for self-improvement and self-learning. Attendance is not much concern in the ISE department. It depends on students for becoming industry ready. This college provides resources time flexibility and knowledge, and students have to utilize them efficiently. Enough holidays are provided to prepare for semester exams, and teachers conduct online and YouTube classes to clarify concepts during study holidays. Overall, the teaching is efficient.
Other: I got into this college through CET. The best thing about this course is that it is very flexible, and we have a lot of time to develop skills since attendance is not very strict. We have 2 major events i.e., Kalanjali inter-college fest and Verve intra-college fest. Fest is conducted in an open space. After covid, there have been very few events. Events are planned by this college cultural team. Our college is not supportive of events, and connectivity is less. It is not in the middle of the city, and the bus stand is 2 km away from our campus. Buses are available for communication, but there is no metro facility.

MVIT is a good place to pursue engineering with good infrastructure, placements and facilities.
Placements: About 97% of students were placed in ISE. The highest salary package offered was 15.93 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3.36 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 4.5 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Pega Systems, Micro Focus, Amadeus Labs, Tally Solutions, Krypt Inc, Accenture, and Cognizant. About 80-90% of students got internships in companies like Hackerrank, DRDO, CAST Software, etc. The top roles offered in our course were SDE, SDE trainee, data analyst, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: The labs in our college were good with new modern computer systems and good internet. Classrooms were well maintained, very neat, and comfortable for the students. Wi-Fi was a little bit of an issue because it was not all areas had good reach. Hostel rooms were all well maintained and clean. Mess food was decent but manageable.
Faculty: All teachers in our college were well qualified and were knowledgeable about the subjects. They had a good command over the subjects they teach. They were all very easy to approach if there are any issues faced by the students. They were very helpful and cooperative.
Other: I chose this course because of my allegiance to computer science. I like to work with computers and do coding. Something to improve in this course would be inclusion of subjects like deep learning and blockchain technology. Fests were normal just like any college fests. They give a good opportunity for students to exhibit their talents and excel in those. MVIT also stresses on the overall development of the students.

It is a good college that is diminishing in potential.
Placements: Around 90% of students in our batch are placed. The highest salary package was around 15 LPA from Pega Systems and the lowest was around 3.5 LPA, which was from many companies. The top recruiting companies were mainly from IT backgrounds or mass recruiters. Many students got internships at Cognizant, Micro Focus, Juspay, etc. The top roles were developer, and software engineer.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available and it is working in almost every corner or block of the college, but since COVID it has been removed or unavailable. Adequate and spacious classrooms and labs with the required equipment are there. Some labs have equipment that is due for an upgrade. The quality of food is average in the mess of the hostel. Sports and games are very rarely encouraged in this college if you're a habitual player. If you've got experience of playing in the tournament or at some higher levels, they (coach) might pay attention to you.
Faculty: Teachers are above average. Some of them are skilled and resourceful. The quality of teaching is okay because the syllabus, which is under VTU, isn't that great and it doesn't nearly make anyone industry-ready. You have to learn something on your own based on your interests. Passing semester exams is fairly easy if you pay attention to classes and study well.

Review on Sir MVIT college.
Placements: Around 80 to 90 % of Information Science students get placed. If you are serious enough in your studies it's relatively easy to get placed. The highest package is 16 LPA. the lowest is 3.36 LPA. Some good companies that visit us are Pegasystems, Microfocus, and Amadeus labs.
Infrastructure: The course information Science has all the required amenities. The labs are good. Some computers aren't up to date but it's manageable. There is Wi-Fi throughout the whole college. The library has all the required books Large collection of books in the library.
Faculty: The teachers are very cooperative in the information Science course. They are very knowledgeable and help students when required The Vtu syllabus is a little outdated but seems to be improving. You should learn new technologies yourself based on current trends in the market.
