Extremely good faculty but Average placement.
Placements: As a mechanical engineering student, our class size is typically around 30 students. On average, students receive a package of 3 LPA, with the highest package reaching up to 5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include Flipkart, Amazon, etc. Generally, students are required to find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: Our lab facilities are among the best in the Kolkata region, boasting a wide array of practical machinery and equipment akin to those found in many government colleges. While the classrooms are average, the faculty members are exceptional, with many being alumni of prestigious colleges. Additionally, students receive 50 GB of internet data every month at no cost.
Faculty: The faculty members are outstanding, with many being alumni of prestigious colleges. Their teaching style is unique and beneficial, and they possess a wealth of knowledge. Overall, their teaching quality is above average, and they are always willing to assist students. Semester exams are not overly difficult.

Review of Calcutta Institute Of Technology.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Companies like Mahindra, Lafarge, Polymer, a lot more companies visit our college for placements. Placement opportunities are available for all branches like mechanical, civil, electrical, computer science, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility in college is very nice and well cleaned but located in a remote area. There is also a hostel facility for girls, which is about 3 km away from the college. Classrooms are clean and spacious. The campus life of the college is very nice. There is a library for study purpose. There are a canteen and open ground.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful. They always support and help students regarding the study. If the course is not completed, faculty conduct additional classes. So students can complete the course in time, and score well in the exam.
Other: Exam pattern of the college is nice. Before the semester exam, two internal exams are conducted. Moreover, the college conducts a very transparent exam.

Review of CIT - Calcutta Institute Of Technology
Placements: There are good placements in our college. Our seniors are also very good and helpful. Almost 40% to 50% of the students got placed from every batch in our college through direct campus recruitment. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit our campus for the placements.
Infrastructure: The college was established in 2004, and it has a huge infrastructure. All the modern facilities are available in the campus. There are two lifts, well-designed labs and also a huge workshop for the mechanical engineering students. Classrooms are large and well ventilated. All types of sports are organized by the students every year in our college.
Faculty: All the professors are very helpful, and they help us in our studies, and also they are student-friendly. The faculty members of the mechanical engineering department are excellent, and you cannot get such student-friendly faculty members anywhere.

Review of Calcutta Institute Of Technology.
Placements: As I am a 3rd-year student, I'm haven't attended any placement drives now. However, almost 80% of our seniors got placements in very few reputed companies. The rest of our seniors are being processed under various placements. Teachers are very helpful to provide information about various placements as well as helpful to crack the placement interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is above average. All the lab facilities are available. Even advanced lab facility is available here. A well-equipped workshop is provided for the students. There is also a digital library. Wi-Fi facility is also available here.
Faculty: Faculty strength of our college is adequate. They provide not only theoretical and practical knowledge but also conduct extra classes, which is helpful for various government exams. All the courses are good enough. The mechanical engineering course curriculum is very good and interesting.

The college provides good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. In 2017, students from diploma in mechanical didn't get good placements. However, now, the college infrastructure, techniques, everything is changed. We hope in upcoming years we get good campus placements. Our teachers are really nice and highly knowledgeable.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are sufficient machines in labs. The playground is not good. There is a need for a good playground. The canteen is good. Wi-Fi facility is good. Hostels are also available and offered at low prices. Even there are hostel facilities for girls. All the floors clean.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly knowledgeable and helpful. Teaching techniques used here are also good. But we did not get industry exposure. However, our faculty tried for it. The student to faculty ratio is overall good. Being a mechanical engineering student, I refer to this department for all upcoming students due to the faculty members.
