Good college in Chennai with placement opportunities.
Placements: Placement is quite good as compared to other colleges in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. Many students from different departments get placed in reputed companies every year. College provides proper training and support which helps students perform well in interviews. Internship opportunities are also available during the final year. This college is good for placements.
Infrastructure: College has a neat and clean campus with good facilities. Wi-Fi is available in most areas. Hostels are decent. Food in the mess is okay, and there are canteens on the campus too. Sports and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and approachable. Most of them teach well and are open to doubts and discussions. Syllabus is designed in a way that covers both basics and trending topics. Semester exams are manageable if you study regularly, and internals help in boosting the final marks.
Other: Compared to the facilities, teaching, and placements provided, it's worth the fee. There are some scholarship options too, based on performance and background. Overall, it feels like a good return on investment.

Good placements. Average hostel facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements for CSE and allied courses are confirmed. For mechanical and other core-related subjects, placements are there, but core placements are low. For CSE, top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, and Autocad, etc. The top roles offered are junior engineer, AE, and project manager.
Infrastructure: Hostel isn't that comfortable, but it has all the necessary things like shops inside the campus. There will be no internet connectivity inside the hostel whatsoever. Food quality is average, and there's a playground for basketball and football. There are multiple food courts near the ground.
Faculty: Most of the staff, who are professors, have completed Ph.D. The curriculum is based on practical-cum-theory, there will be a theory class and practical lessons based on that subject. Semester exams are not that difficult, the grades are based on cumulative grading.
Other: I chose this course so that I can try government exams, and also our relatives run a construction company. The practical session is somewhat weak. There are a lot of events inside the campus, they have a student group for events and organization. Scholarships are given for first graduates and applicable students. The surroundings are not that comfortable because the college is somewhat away, like 7 to 8 km from Kundrathur, we have to travel that many kilometers for some things.

College has good placements but lacks a good vibe or open culture to enjoy the studies.
Placements: Students above 90% are placed in my course, with the highest package till now being 75 LPA and the lowest 4 LPA. Zoho, HCL, and Google are the top recruiting companies, and mostly above 60% of students got internships from the first year, as every role offered by the companies has several uses, so these students are handpicked for placement.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library, but it doesn’t care about sports, the food is mostly the worst and not even edible as the contents are not properly cooked, so it’s better to take PG outside, which is good and best for this college, and the gym is not even accessible.
Faculty: Teachers will not help you at any cost, so self-learning is important. Industrial teaching is limited. Semester exams are relevant, and the pass percentage is maintained at 65% for the pass category. Every internal exam is very important and difficult to handle.
Other: I chose this because I love coding and developing code.

Overall life at CIT with placements and curriculum.
Placements: Most probably, more than 90% of the students are being placed by our college, especially in the mechanical department. Some students choose to go for higher studies or go abroad for higher studies. This college is giving training for the GATE examinations. The lowest salary is 4 LPA, and the average is 30 LPA for the mechanical engineering department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. Wi-Fi connection and food in the hostel are good, and rooms are cozy. They use smart boards, which are like a touch TV, where they used to teach us, instead of old blackboards, which make us understand and learn things practically.
Faculty: Semester exams are very easy to clear. Proper coaching is given, and they conduct three internal assessments. They cover all five units of the semester, and the faculty guides the students to get good scores in semester examinations. Teachers are always there to clear out doubts, and they are not that strict; they are friendly with students. How we behave with teachers also matters.

It provides good placements and we can gain knowledge here.
Placements: In my course, 100% of placements are provided. The highest salary packages offered is 18 or even 21 LPA. Recruiting companies include many famous and family companies. All are related to core jobs. Each student gets a chance to go for internships even in foreign and also some of them get internships in government sectors.
Infrastructure: We have separate department classrooms for all years. We also have labs for practicals every year. Everything in our hostel is good. We even have AC for rooms and a good water facility. Mess food is also good. There is availability of playground for sport activities.
Faculty: Teachers are very much concerned about our careers, and they make us perfect. Teachers make us ready for the industry. They taught us everything that we have to know before going for a job. Semester exams are the same as in every college. We have to study and the knowledge that we learned from staff members helps us to crack exams.
Other: As computer and IT fields are running out of the job I have seen this course as a life-saving. It is one of the core courses that many companies need, so I chose this course.

Placement report, faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: When we look at the placements in my college, they are really working well to improve placements every year. Training is provided in the third year, and many students get placed in their third year itself. The highest package is 50 LPA, and the lowest may be around 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: When we look at the labs and centers of excellence, they are good. Many students engage to upskill themselves there. Classrooms are being upgraded to smart classrooms, and the library is accessible for hostel students until 6 p.m., where they can use the books to gain knowledge.
Faculty: The semester exams are very easy to clear. Proper coaching is given, and they conduct three internal assessments. They cover all five units for the semester, and faculty guide the students to get good scores in semester examinations.
