Great learning environment.

Placements: At our college, the placement record is strong. Over 95 percent of students get placed in 2025 graduating batch. Top companies are Google, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase and Co, and Goldman Sachs. The highest package is 51 LPA, and average package is around 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Chennai Institute of Technology offers the best infrastructure with advanced labs, innovation centers, and incubation lab. As a hosteller, we can access to COE and labs even after college hours, enhancing practical learning and a place for collaborative learning.

Faculty: CIT has experienced faculty and industry aligned curriculum. Before end semester examinations, we have University Preparatory Classes ( UPC) to boost up the preparation along with internal assessments. Lab sessions ensuring strong conceptual understanding.

A great college for Engineering students.

Placements: Almost 100 percent students secure jobs by the end of their 4th year. The highest package offered was around 24 Lacs per month as a Microsoft intern, and another highest package was around 50 LPA offered by Amazon. In my course, 80 percent of the students secured internship opportunities and the Microsoft placed a lot of students from my department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the hostel facilities are above average. We have an annual sports meet conducted once in every two years. Mess and the canteen’s food is above average. The college fest, Takshashila, is a great event which happens every year. It's one of the most famous events among the engineering colleges of Chennai.

Faculty: The teachers are highly trained and super professional. The hospitality given by them will make your college feel like home. Semester exams training will begin a month before the exams. We have UPC exams which will train you for the semesters. The passing percentage is 45 percent.

Other: We have extracurricular language training offered including Japanese, French, German, Mandarin languages. We also have a centre of excellence which provides hands on training and real life opportunities. Our college provides great support for Startups too.

Review of Chennai Institute of Technology.

Placements: In our college, almost 85% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 32 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Google, Cognizant, Piping Rock, etc., visited our campus. Many students got internships. Top roles offered were web designer and cloud computing.

Infrastructure: Our college provided good infrastructure. Labs were good. Wi-Fi was available. The hostel facilities were not good. The quality of the food in the hostel was average. The canteen was good. The quality of food in the canteen was good and costly.

Faculty: Our teachers were good and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. The teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was relevant. Exams were difficult.

Other: I chose this course because software is becoming more important these days. The best thing was that we could build and run many things using the software. Our college celebrated many fests. The campus crowd was good.

Transforming lives and providing many opportunities.

Placements: Nearly 1000 students are placed in my course, and more opportunities are given to those students. Many placement companies are now hiring students in our college, and the annual income of the placed students is above INR 50 lacs to INR 1 crore.

Infrastructure: Well, infrastructure and providing many labs to perform in provide many competitions for the students to perform in, and our campus is wonderful to visit. We have one cricket ground to perform your talent, and we conduct yearly cultural performances to perform and reveal your talents.

Faculty: Faculty are at a high level in teaching, and they have completed their Ph.D. level in approximately 50 percent of them. The teaching level is excellent, and the chairman, sir, gives us many technologies to perform and encourages us to learn more skills. It is the place where you learn yourself.

Great college with worth for money.

Placements: More than 80 percent students are placed in my course. My course is started only at 2020 So, I don't know about the packages. Microsoft, Amazon, IBM are top recruiting companies of my course. More than 40 percent got internship from my course in companies like IBM and Amazon.

Infrastructure: Campus is little bit smaller than other top colleges. Free Wi-Fi facility is installed. Smart classes are very good. Labs look like hi-Tech labs. Library is very good and neat. Many sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball, etc. can be played there. The canteen is great here.

Faculty: The syllabus is very useful and creative for our future. More than 45 percent of faculty are Ph.D. qualified and in road to make 100 percent faculty Ph.D. qualified. This college make us industry ready very easily. Semester exams are not easy and also not hard.

Other: This course also makes us ready for business.
