Comprehensive insights into the faculty, placement, and infrastructure of CIT.
Placements: CIT's Career Development Center stands out for initiating placement training right from the 1st semester. Every year, 95 to 96 percent of students are successfully placed, with packages ranging from 6 LPA to above 20 LPA, including several dream offers. Students are trained in dedicated core skill batches such as CodeBees for first-year students, and as they progress, they are upgraded to the Software Development Engineer (SDE) track. CIT consistently achieves exceptional placement records with top-tier companies like Microsoft, ServiceNow, Cisco, TCS, and many more, offering marquee and dream packages.
Infrastructure: Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT) offers a well-maintained campus with modern labs and good learning facilities. Hostels are safe, inside the campus, and provide a student-friendly environment with decent amenities. Overall, CIT gives a comfortable campus life with good academics and supportive infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty in my course are approachable and actually put effort into making sure we understand the concepts, not just finish the syllabus. The curriculum is updated often, and most subjects include practical exposure, which really helps during placements. Exams are conducted regularly, and while they are manageable, you need to stay consistent because internals and arraignment carry good weight. Overall, the teaching quality, course structure, and exam pattern feel balanced and student-friendly. The courses are industry-focused with strong placement support.

My experience at Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT).
Placements: As a 2nd-year student in the CSE (AIML) programme, I have had a very positive experience at CIT. The college is clearly focused on building our careers in high-demand tech fields. The placement record is a major motivator. We see our seniors getting placed with a very high success rate, and the top packages, often more than 21 LPA-41 LPA, show the value of a CIT degree.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is modern, with smart boards in classrooms and well-equipped labs. For my AIML specialisation, the centers of excellence (CoE) are a huge advantage, giving us hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technology outside the standard curriculum.
Faculty: The faculty are genuinely invested in our success. They are approachable, supportive, and connect our foundation CSE subjects to the advanced AIML concepts we'll need. They definitely make us feel industry-ready. The curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated, helping us stay aligned with current industry standards. The semester exam is quite easy if we attend classes regularly.

Overall life at CIT with placements and curriculum.
Placements: Most probably, more than 90% of the students are being placed by our college, especially in the mechanical department. Some students choose to go for higher studies or go abroad for higher studies. This college is giving training for the GATE examinations. The lowest salary is 4 LPA, and the average is 30 LPA for the mechanical engineering department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. Wi-Fi connection and food in the hostel are good, and rooms are cozy. They use smart boards, which are like a touch TV, where they used to teach us, instead of old blackboards, which make us understand and learn things practically.
Faculty: Semester exams are very easy to clear. Proper coaching is given, and they conduct three internal assessments. They cover all five units of the semester, and the faculty guides the students to get good scores in semester examinations. Teachers are always there to clear out doubts, and they are not that strict; they are friendly with students. How we behave with teachers also matters.

Review of Chennai Institute of Technology.
Placements: 98.1% of students got placed in our college. The highest package is 51 LPA. The other salary package offered is below 10 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Flipkart Microsoft, etc. 50% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on our campus is quite good. They provide 200 MB per second of Wi-Fi, and the faculty is knowledgeable and supportive. The hostel offers decent food with a varied menu in the canteen, and there are medical facilities available as well. Additionally, the campus encourages participation in extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was really good, and in my opinion, the course curriculum was relevant to our exams. Overall, the experience was decent, although I'm not entirely sure about the exams. The pass percentage is 50%.
