Great infrastructure and facilities, average faculty, and decent placements.
Placements: A limited number of students (30-40) secure on-campus placements. Many students opt for off-campus opportunities and internships. The salary packages are as follows, the highest package is around 7 LPA, the lowest package is around 3 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, RBI, and others visit the campus.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern infrastructure to support both academic and research activities. The classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards and projectors to facilitate effective teaching. High-speed Wi-Fi is accessible across the department and campus, which greatly aids in research and online learning. The hostel infrastructure is decent and functional. Rooms are generally shared, with 2-3 students per room. Hygiene is maintained reasonably well, with regular cleaning of washrooms and common areas.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. Most faculty members hold advanced degrees and are well-versed in their subjects. The teaching quality is generally good, with a mix of theoretical and practical learning. The course curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry trends, including project work, internships, and skill-based training, which helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, requiring consistent study and an understanding of concepts. The evaluation is fair, and students who attend classes and stay engaged usually perform well. The overall pass percentage is around 85-90%, indicating a supportive academic environment.

Good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: There are 60 students in our classroom. In M.A., there are no placements, as far as I know, while I am studying. No companies are there because my course does not offer corporate jobs; it’s like a literacy subject, so I can’t work with the companies, so that's it.
Infrastructure: There are good facility of labs, library and classrooms. Its is very clean and the classrooms are enough big to sit comfortable for the students to attend the daily lecture of the teacher for our course subject. There are Wi-Fi install for the students.
Faculty: The curriculum is very well structured, and the teachers guide us for the competitive exams also. Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable for the course that I obtained, which is Assamese, and it covers all units, or you can say, important topics.

Great faculty, excellent culture, prominent infrastructure .
Placements: The placement cell of our university needs to run much more smoothly in order to encourage more students' employment and their welfare. Although the cell is actively working, the percentage of placements provided is supposed low. They need to be more efficient towards the goal.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our department have been improving lately. But the growing generation and their needs are much different than before, to meet those the department must work more on its infrastructure and other facilities. Other facilities available such as food, health, sports etc. Are sufficient as of now.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is very active, helpful and knowledgeable. They are ready to help their students whenever in need. The course we're studying are of great help indeed. Students gain knowledge about the history and evolution of language, literature and many more. The semester exams are not so difficult if prepared nicely.
Other: According to me, the course I've been pursuing is of great efficiency, it'd be excellent for someone who's interested in literature and lovers reading. Overall, the college is performing well but needs more efficiency in terms of infrastructure, health etc. Our college is best known for its cultural excellence and extracurricular activities are sufficient encouraging.

B.A.(Hons) in Economics - Batch of 2028

Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The placements provided are quite average. Talking about my course, economics, the placements are good enough with packages starting from Rs. 40,000. Although number of students getting placed was quite less as of last year. There is a placement cell in the university that takes care of it.
Infrastructure: The department has a library that is well-equipped, study-efficient and has free Wi-Fi. It has all the books required for this course. Classrooms too are well organized and fully maintained with blackboard, table, desks. It also has a sports complex which includes a badminton court, table tennis, carrom, and a gymnasium as well.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, though they are aged and experienced. Teaching quality was above average. Teachers do provide notes, and most of the time, the class communication is enough for exams. The course curriculum is very relevant, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are on a level of moderate to difficult, and the passing CGPA in the last semester is about 8.9 CGPA.
Other: My course B.A. Hons, economics is a highly demanding course. The best thing about this course is that in addition to the theoretical portions, it also consists of a mathematical portion which makes it a perfect balance for people who cannot study theory too much. I think a little bit more access to multimedia content would make the course interesting rather than just class notes. The college hosts college week annually which consists of cultural activities and sports events. It also provides scholarship programs for students.

I am satisfied with faculty members.
Placements: Approximately 40-50% of students were enrolled in our course, but the job profile was not directly relevant to our curriculum. The career options in our course included assistant professor, teacher, etc. The package offered to us was not good, it was around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our college were good. The college's library had a large collection of reference books. The Wi-Fi facility was not proper. The sports facilities in the college were limited. Basic medical facilities were available.
Faculty: Professors of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members was good. The course curriculum was relevant. It was based on UGC guidelines. Semester examinations were easy.

This is how I look at my college!
Placements: 8-9%? The highest package may vary according to the course, students of the mass communication department have to pay for their education fully. Educational institutions? Very few students do internships here. People are less aware of the program. Education developed or decision was taken.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided according to the authority, but nobody gets to use it actually. People aren't aware of its password. Labs aren't enough. The existing ones are in poor condition. Classrooms are average. The library is available. The quality of food is average. Medical facilities aren't that easy to get. Very little development in the case of sports and games.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average and above average. Moderately relevant. I think it makes the students ready to step into society. Neither easy nor hard. Almost everyone passes the exam.
Other: I chose this course on my own. I love reading literature and I'm drawn to it. My course is amusing and interesting. I think the New Educational Policy changes the pattern of the course. It can be improved a little. Mostly, events were arranged and celebrated. The campus surroundings are average. Some can apply for the scholarship. Extracurricular activities take place.
