DYPCET admissions are entrance-based. The college considers MHT CET, JEE Main Paper-I, NATA, etc. for admission to specific courses. DYPCET offers admission through CAP or institute-level seats. DYPCET Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection
DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology offers seats to candidates via the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Eligible candidates can also apply for institute-level seats. Aspirants need to fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria to get admission in the college. The basic qualification required for UG courses is Class 12 and graduation for PG programmes. Steps for DYPCET Admission Process 2025
DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology admissions are based on entrance exam scores. Admission in the UG & PG programmes is done through counselling under the Maharashtra Engineering Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Aspirants can apply online for admission. Candidates must follow the steps below to get a seat in the college:
STEP 1: DYPCET Application Process 2025
Applications are invited from all eligible aspirants for institute-level seats and Vacancy against CAP as per rules and regulations laid down by the Competent Authority, Government of Maharashtra. Candidates after qualifying the respective entrance exam need to apply for CAP. For institute-level seats, application form is available for download on the college website.
STEP 2: Selection
The selection in the BTech programme is based on MHTCET/ JEE Main score. For admission to MTech, aspirants must have a valid GATE score. Besides, the selection for BArch is based on NATA or JEE Main Paper-II.
STEP 3: Counselling & Admission Confirmation
After appearing for the exam, aspirants need to apply for CAP. Students are offered seats via CAP in multiple rounds. For institute-level seats, candidates need to fill out the form on the college website. Once selected, aspirants need to pay the DYPCET fee for admission.

DYPCET offers a two-year full-time MTech course at the PG level. The college offers MTech in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication.
