Overall, DBIT has a good environment.
Placements: Placements in Don Bosco Institute of Technology are average in my department compared to other departments like CS, EC, and EEE. Many companies come here for placements. The staffs in the placement department will guide you through it.
Infrastructure: Don Bosco Institute of Technology has a huge campus. I heard from my friends that the hostel is good. The canteen is good and also the college cafe. The library provides all the required books and materials.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are well qualified and are helpful through our academics. They guide us through all the difficulties and make time to clear all the doubts regarding subjects. The examination papers are from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).

It is a very moderate college, and if you are a moderate student, you will adjust easily.
Placements: The placements are good for software students but not for others. The environment is average here, and brilliant students are less. Hence the computation is low, but if you are an academically average student, you can be academically top in this college. It is a VTU college, and hence you have to make an effort to pass out.
Infrastructure: The library service is good here, and it is easy to borrow books. But there is a shortage of books, which is the main problem. However, sports were good, but after the pandemic, they also became poor. Extracurricular activities are not supported, and if you join mechanical, you will live happily.
Faculty: The difficulty level of exams is high here because it is a VTU college. So, many students fail and get backlogs. However, it is good to have tough exams because you will gain good knowledge and then you will get a good habit of reading. It is very risky in VTU.
Other: Before the pandemic, events were good, and really good events were organised like Kannada Rajyotsava, fest, fresher's day, etc. But they are not much entertaining, but you will enjoy them if you make a lot of friends. But now, after the pandemic, everything is changed.

It has a good campus life, but you can't enjoy the days. It has poor placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are below average. CSE and ISE have the majority of chances to get into core companies compared to the rest of the branches. No core companies for ME, ECE, EEE, and CV. Major companies visiting the campus are only for sales domain and marketing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is vast. There are no modern buildings. The canteen is good. Totally the infrastructure is average. It has an old infrastructure which might not please the students entering the campus. Overall, the campus doesn't get Wi-Fi inside the campus. Labs are good and hostels as well.
Faculty: Some faculty members in our college are good, and some are experienced. Some do not care for you until you put efforts and study with the subjects. No particular research teams are working on day to day innovation. Project papers are given to international conference which can add up to your resume.
Other: The campus connectivity is a bit hectic since the crowd in the college is more. Fests and events are not great. You can enjoy much, but competitively it is fine.

Better college for an average .
Placements: We can't get the better placement for our courses. And not even the relevant companies come for placements. If the better companies are available this college would be the better. Placements are the main drawbacks of the college .
Infrastructure: The best infrastructure we could get in a college. This college has a awesome infrastructure. It has a attractive campus which give a perfect ambience to study for the best. Which is also a perfect place to get trained with life values .
Faculty: Some of the facilities are at their best of the knowledge. But some of the lectures are at their worst. Some have the best knowledge which is very much essential to teach a student. But some don't even have knowledge even for them only.

I am dissatisfied because of placement services for core students.
Placements: Placements for the mechanical branch are not good, but for computer science and IS, it is good. If students know the programming language, then there will be no problem and candidate will be easily placed. Core companies of the mechanical branch are very less in any college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility for students and staff members. Labs are superb enough, and they take every primary precaution. Classrooms are also maintained clean, and they will clean classrooms every day. The library is also good for the book worms, and students can spend time in the library from 9 to 5 with no disturbances.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful for clearing possible doubts, and they are qualified. They are knowledgeable and clarify our doubts within the next day. Teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant, but it will make us only engineers. We have to put efforts to become a good engineer.
Other: I am interested in mechanics, so I have chosen a mechanical course. The best thing about this is we can see operations and process very clearly. The process is visible. The college should provide a forum, industry visits and educational trips to enhance knowledge about the course. The course is a bit expensive, i.e., Rs. 80,000.
