KCET Mock Allotment 2024
Karnataka Examination Authority has announced the KCET 2024 mock allotment result. The mock allotment of KCET 2024 is done based on the merit and option entered by the candidates by following the roster system. Post the KCET mock allotment result, the candidates will be allowed to change, reorder, delete and add courses and colleges of their preferences. The final submitted options for the first KCET seat allotment 2024 are considered. The authorities conduct the mock allotment to help candidates to understand how the order of their choice preference will lead to allotment of the course and college.

- Go to the KCET official website at kea.kar.nic.in 2024.
- Click on the seat allotment link.
- Candidates will have to provide the required credentials.

What after KCET Seat Allotment 2024?
After the KCET seat allotment result is announced, the selected candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the required fee and verifying their documents. Failure to confirm their admission before the final date will lead to the cancellation of admission.
KCET Seat Allotment 2024 - Supernumerary Quota
KCET supernumerary quota seats are reserved for all Engineering colleges. 5% of the seats in each college and in each course are reserved under supernumerary quota. To understand this better, there are 120 seats in Computer Science in a particular college, and the Supernumerary quota for Computer Science in that college will be 6 seats. Therefore, the total intake in that college for computer science will be 126. Candidates allotted supernumerary quota in KCET seat allotment 2024 need not pay the tuition fee prescribed by the Government in that college because it will be waived off. The candidate must pay the other fees only. KCET Supernumerary seats are not available for the Architecture course.
KCET Supernumerary Quota Seats – Eligibility Criteria
- Parental annual income should be less than the income prescribed by the Government for Supernumerary quota seats.
- Candidates must produce the Income Certificate issued by the Jurisdictional Tahsildar at the time of verification of documents verification.
- KCET supernumerary quota seats will be allotted in the order of merit and options entered by the candidate.
How to Apply for Supernumerary Quota in KCET 2024?
Candidates will be allocated KCET supernumerary quota seats in the following ways:
- Candidates can apply for KCET supernumerary quota seats while exercising the seat allotment process
- There is no need to give separate options for Supernumerary quota seats
- KCET supernumerary seats will be allotted in the order of merit and options entered by the candidate
- While allotting the seats the software will consider Supernumerary quota seats first for allotment if seats are available
- The software is designed in such a manner that while considering the options entered by the candidate for KCET seat allotment 2024, the priority in engineering options will be considered first against the Supernumerary Quota seats
