The college has good CSC and IT Engineering departments.
Placements: I got admission through a lateral entry in this college in the Electrical Engineering department. 100% students are placed in my course. Average salary package offered is around 2 to 3 going up to 4 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Dhoot Transmission Pvt. Ltd., Cognizant, and TCS.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my course is well maintained including laboratories, and libraries as well. Wi-Fi is also available in the college. My department is situated in another building separately. In this college, there is no hostel facilities provided but a canteen is available for snacks and refreshments.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. In my course, there are 2 semesters in each year and before the semester exams, there are 4 assessments (ca1, ca2, ca3, ca4) conducted. The passing percentage is 40%. The main semester exams are too difficult and all the exams are conducted under CCTV surveillance.

Placements: Pretty not sure but most of the student get placed. Top companies are TCS cognizant Wipro etc. Approximately minimum package is of INR 4 lacs. Internship is also offered. In my batch there are 40 students. In my course labs are good. College campus has a good environment. Its situated near the sonarpur railway junction.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure are pretty good, Wi-Fi is not usable, no hostel facilities are there in the college. Canteen is available in college but hostel is not available. College also conducts sports, fest, Tech fest, Seminar, Special courses. Classrooms are well.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very knowledgeable and they are very friendly. Yes, this college is not good for core branch. Its csc is good. Due to makaut new exam rule exam now days are very difficult, and the passing marks are 40%. For core branch like electrical, mechanical it is not a good college and civil branch is not available.
Other: I am a lateral student, so my fess is less than a regular student.

I honestly recommend this college, go for this college without any doubt.
Placements: Placement is good in our college, our placement cell working all the time and our teachers are very helpful. Every year almost 80% to 85% of students get placed. Companies like CTS, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, and Byjus came to our college for recruiting. The average package provided is 4 LPA -6 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in our college but paying guest services are available, And if I talk about the course it is good. All of our laboratories are well equipped and air-conditioned and all of our faculty members are very helpful all the time. A well-equipped library is available in our college.
Faculty: All the faculties are well experienced and very helpful, they always teach us like their son and the educational infrastructure is very well in our department. In the semester exam, the invigilator is very strict. The teaching quality is very standard.
Other: I choose this course because I love to do hardware base engineering, it's my dream to serve my nation. There are four clubs in our college, sports, cultural activities, drama, and technical activities. Always the campus is crowded and full of students, the canteen is quite good.

Review of FIEM - Future Institute of Engineering and Management.
Placements: Placements offered here are average. Out of 70 students from our department, only 50% of them get placed through the placement drive. Our college needs to be focused on enhancing the placement drive. However, quality organisations come to offer placements, and the topmost of them are Cognizant and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The library facility is very good. You can avail books that you require at any point of time during college hours and take them to your home for 14 days. Labs infrastructure is fairly good.
Faculty: Faculty members and mentorship are excellent. Our college and management offer the best faculty guidance to the students. You can get assistance from faculty members at any time. The curriculum included under B.Tech electrical is similar under AICTE affiliated colleges.

Our college is good. You don't have to worry about the fest, etc. Teachers are also fine here.
Placements: Mostly IT companies like CTS, Wipro, etc., visit our college for placements. All the streams students can attend the test and interview. If students are capable, then they can get jobs. But most of the students, i.e., 80% of the students get jobs from the IT, CSE and ECE branch. Core branches also have placements, and this year the salary package offered was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available but provides 34 MB for login. The canteen is fine, and sports activities are very much actively conducted. There is also a common room to enjoy where you can play TT, etc. The library is really good, and the classrooms are also fine. There is no hostel, but near the college, you can get affordable PG.
Faculty: Teachers here are fine, helpful, and if you ask them more than once, they will answer. All the courses curriculum in engineering colleges in India are outdated. You will learn all the basic things in our college, but you are not industry-ready. In our college, all focus on marks rather than gaining knowledge.
Other: I like physics, and electrical and mechanical were the only choice, but I chose electrical as it is a core branch and has a lot of opportunities. I wish that I shouldn't study only the syllabus but also learn what I want. Our college has 4 major clubs for sports, cultural events, film-music and technology. It organises a fest once a year or a few times.

Hi there, Different colleges have different criteria for JEE. For Thapar Institute in Patiala, you can apply through two criterias. 1) Based on your JEE score and 2) Based on your 12th class percentage (PCM OR PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 30% and 70% respectively. You can choose
