It has decent placement and strong technical exposure.

Placements: I belong to the VTECAIML batch of the University School of Automation and Robotics. Around 70 to 77 percent of students from our college are placed through campus placement. The highest placement package offered is approximately 18 LPA. The lowest package is around 4 LPA, and the average package is near 7 LPA to 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure at USAR is modern and well maintained. The campus provides high speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, advanced robotics, automation and AI electronics, and labs are well stocked. There are digital and physical libraries. Labs are equipped with real time, industrial tools, simulation, software and robotics kits which help in hands-on learning.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and supportive. Most teachers have strong, academic background, and industry exposure. They are always ready to help students with projects and research guidance. Teaching quality is good with a mixture of theory practical session and project based learning.

Other: The courses at US offer good value for money, considering the quality of education, infrastructure, experienced faculty, and placement opportunities. The campus crowd is diverse, disciplined, and academically focused with students from different backgrounds. Campus life is lively with technical fast, cultural events, hackathons, workshops, seminars, clubs, etc. Scholarships and financial assistance are available for eligible students. Placements: 90% of students get placed. The highest package is 45 LPA and the average is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Rapid, Adobe, etc. A specific percentage of students securing internships is not detailed. Top roles offered are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Technical Staff, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very fantastic. Facilities like Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, smart classrooms, and well-equipped labs, with a central library are available. Hostels are separate for boys and girls. The mess and canteen provides decent food quality. An on-campus health center is available. Various sports are available, like a badminton court and a football/cricket ground.

Faculty: The university places an emphasis on teaching quality, utilizing student feedback as a key metric to assess and enhance faculty performance. The curriculum is designed to align with industry standards, incorporating practical components such as industrial workshops and internships to prepare students for professional challenges.

Other: I am very passionate about this field and truly enjoy it. More fests, like DTU, should be held. The biggest fest of IPU, Anugoonj, is an annual cultural fest. There are a range of activities like street dance, folk dance, street plays, singing, and debate competitions. Many renowned artists enhance its appeal, among students.

Great infrastructure and campus.

Placements: Comparatively new institutes so placements vary from 3 LPA - 8 LPA, where courses like AIDS have more placements. This year foundation batch is to be graduated, so their performances will be publicly available in few months. CGPA should be maintained to sit in the placement drive.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-maintained and are great. Equipment is the latest and has a very calm environment. But hostels have less appliances like washing machines and stuff food is on decent side. Water quality is sometimes an issue but UWD works on students' needs quite fast.

Faculty: Teachers are great and they are always helpful. They will try their best for students. Exams are medium in toughness but checking is relatively hard for freshers. Exams happen quite often depending on policy following, number of subjects is more which might not be needed for most.

Other: Campus is small but the atmosphere inside college is calm. You may sit anywhere on campus and no one will question you, hence quite a chill atmosphere. Events do happen a lot and participation is great indeed.

A quick overview for life in USAR .

Placements: This college has some of the best courses in the computer field, such as AI, ML, this, IIOT, and Automation & Robotics. You will get prepared for all the latest technologies out there. The placement is above average, around 6 LPA minimum, and the highest around 28 LPA.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi wherever you go, whether you get anything else or not, you for sure get Wi-Fi all over the campus. Labs and classrooms would not make you feel old school and have advanced facilities. All labs have new and high-tech gadgets, instruments, and other furniture.

Faculty: The faculty are well and supportive. The curriculum, you can get by the name only, is surely industry-ready. Exams are moderate, if not tough. The course is structured well for upcoming technologies, and you will get ready for your career in the field of AI and Robotics.

Other: Fests and events will not get you bored for a week. Actually, in the first year, there are a bit fewer CS subjects, one in the 1st sem and one in the 2nd sem.

I think college infrastructure is very good and teachers are well-qualified.

Placements: 79 students got placed as of now (4 December 2024). The highest package was 12 LPA by RT Camps, the average is 5.8 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. CapGemini recruited the most students as of now. The highest role offered is Special Programmer by Infosys. Internship information hasn't been disclosed by the university yet, but many students got internships in DRDO.

Infrastructure: The whole campus has Wi-Fi, and the hostel has Ethernet with a top speed of 1GBPS. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with smart boards. Bathrooms and washrooms are cleaned on a daily basis. There are 2 badminton courts on campus and 1 ground in which you can play cricket and football. Mess and canteen food is average.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They teach really well. The course curriculum is updated, and the university teaches us what the industry needs at present. Students are industry-ready. Semester exams aren't that difficult or that easy. 40% marks are the pass percentage.

Other: I chose this course because, in the modern world and in the future, the AIML branch is going to have scope. The college conducts too many events and fests. The campus crowd is very good. Seniors are very supportive. Connectivity is good too. The Blue, Pink, and Red lines are very near.
