The college has good placements and wonderful infrastructure, but too hectic academics.
Placements:
Last year more than 90% of students got placed. This year the number has increased. Top recruiting companies are Google, Apple, Microsoft, Zomato, Flipkart, Sprinkler, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships. Top roles offered are SDE, software developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: There are top-class facilities available for my course, such as a computer lab and library. The campus includes smart classrooms, a smart library, and Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. The quality of the hostel is not that good, it has decent rooms with well-ventilation. You can bring your cooler. The quality of the food is not good, but it works for me. There are almost all games played like lawn tennis, squash, snooker, cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They are highly qualified. Their teaching quality is not like everyone could understand. Some of them are very good but some of them just are like roots. The course curriculum is very relevant as we started coding on day one and no unnecessary subjects are there. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Exams are quite tough and not so easy to pass. Many students get backlog exams every semester.

Excellent infrastructure, top placements, supportive faculty, and an industry-relevant curriculum.
Placements: Last year, around 98% of students were placed, with approximately 450 top companies, including Flipkart, Google, Amazon, and other leading MNCs, visiting our college for recruitment. Only the top 50% of students secured internships in their second year, with offers from prestigious companies like Goldman Sachs, Shipsy, and others. In our college, three BTech courses are offered: Information Technology, Information Technology with Business Informatics, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, our college offers programs such as MBA and PhD.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is excellent, spread across a 100-acre campus full of greenery and beautiful buildings. There are three fully air-conditioned computer lecture halls, a well-equipped library, and a large cafeteria offering a wide variety of food options. Additionally, there are two other canteens—Nescafe and Amul. The college provides all the necessary sports facilities, allowing students to participate in various games. There is also a major student organization named *Asmita*, where the annual inter-IIIT event takes place, featuring competitions in all sports. The Student Activities Centre (SAC) also provides indoor games facilities. Our college offers a great hostel life with comfortable accommodations and good mess food, along with a night canteen for late-night snacks.
Faculty: Our college provides highly qualified teachers with extensive experience in their respective domains. The faculty are kind and helpful, offering lecture notes, PPTs, and study materials to aid in understanding the course. While the courses may be a bit challenging initially, the curriculum is highly relevant and useful for the industry.

My life at IIIT Allahabad.
Placements: IIIT Allahabad has a strong placement record, especially in IT branches. The top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, and Qualcomm. The average package ranges between 15-20 LPA for IT-related branches. The highest domestic package often exceeds 80 LPA, with some international offers as well. There are good internship opportunities in top tech companies starting from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: IIIT Allahabad offers modern and tech-friendly infrastructure Wi-Fi-enabled campus, high-end computer labs, and smart classrooms. Hostels are well-maintained, with 24/7 internet and mess facilities. The central library provides digital access, and there is a sports complex and student activity centers. The campus is spread over 100+ acres with green surroundings.
Faculty: The institute has a mix of experienced professors and young researchers. Many faculty members are PhDs from top IITs or leading national universities. It offers research-oriented teaching, with active projects and publications. Professors are open and accessible, encouraging student participation in academic activities. Guest lectures and workshops are common, often involving industry experts.

Great campus I've ever seen (IIIT Allahabad).
Placements: My college, IIIT Allahabad, is really very good at placements, which attracts more students to this college. According to previous statistics, around 98% of students were placed, and the highest package offered is around 55 LPA, while the lowest package is around 8 LPA and the average package is around 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are Microsoft and Google. Every student on our campus gets the chance to do internships, and roles offered in our branch include front-end developer and back-end developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities available on campus are truly amazing. The classrooms and library are very well designed and highly established, keeping students comfortable while studying. The hostel facilities are well constructed and neatly maintained by the management, which makes students feel more comfortable while staying on campus. The mess food on campus is not that great and needs some improvement, while the canteen food is satisfactory but could be improved a little. The medical facilities are excellent, as the campus has a well-equipped medical center.
Faculty: The faculty on campus are very skilled, and while not all, many of them are student-friendly. They help students in their academics when needed, and the quality of teaching here is excellent, making it easy for students to understand. The course curriculum is designed by the heads of the respective departments and is structured in a way that minimizes academic burden. Lectures and exams are well-scheduled, making our campus's curriculum great. The semester exams are not that difficult; a student can easily pass with very limited preparation, and the pass percentage here is 5 CGPA.
Other: The course I am pursuing here is IT, and the main reason for selecting this course is its better placement opportunities. I am very much interested in this course. The course is well-designed and has a very good curriculum; no major improvements are needed except for the food served in the mess. IIIT Allahabad hosts a good number of fests and events, with around 3-5 events taking place every year. Regarding campus connectivity, it is really great, allowing students to easily travel to their hometowns or outside the campus using various transport options. The campus also provides a wide range of scholarships to students based on their performance in semester exams.

There are some things that are not good, but they are minor things. Overall, college is excellent.
Placements: At IIIT Allahabad, 90% of students get placed every year. The college places more priority on coding, which is one of the main reasons for its excellent placement record. This year, the highest package is over 1 crore, and the lowest package is around 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs. Many students get offers from Google.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure here are good. Two persons are accommodated per room, but single rooms are also available, with different fee for both of them. Wi-Fi facility does not work properly, and the food quality is very bad. Non-veg food is not provided in the first year. The medical facilities are good.
Faculty: All teachers here are from IITs and have a PhD in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is updated every year, which helps make students industry-ready. In the semester, they conduct quizzes, a mid-sem exam, and an end-sem exam. These exams are very difficult.

Hi, As per my knowledge, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Allahabad) does not offer admission through Lateral Entry in B.Tech 2nd year course.
