Candidates will be able to raise objections against the provisional JEE Main answer key online. For every objection, the candidates will have to pay INR 200. The fee payment has to be done online i.e., through credit card/debit card/net banking. If the candidates do not pay the required fee then their objections will not be accepted. Along with the fee, the candidates will also have to submit the supporting proof for the objections.
In case the JEE Main answer key challenge raised by the candidate is accepted, the NTA will send an email to the registered email address mentioning the details of question for which the objections has been accepted. The NTA will also send the details of correct answer for the questions.
Objections raising fee in JEE Main answer key is INR 200 per question. You can pay it online using internet banking or credit/debit card. The exact fees to be paid depends on total questions selected for grievance.

What is JEE Main response sheet 2026?
Along with provisional answer key, candidates can also download JEE Mains 2026 response sheet. Through response sheet, they can know individual answers submitted during examination. These responses are important as it can be compared to provisional JEE Main answer key to know number of correct and incorrect answers marked in entrance examination. How to challenge provisional JEE Main answer key 2026?
Candidates were able to challenge provisional JEE Main 2026 answer key until February 6 (11:50 PM). To raise objections, they had to log in and select question ID/answer ID and add it to claims list. For every question, candidates had to pay INR 200 online through credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI/PayTM. It is to be noted that fee was non refundable. However, NTA will refund fee, if challenge is approved. After last date, no requests to submit objections will be accepted.
JEE Main 2026 Result
NTA has released JEE Mains result 2026 for Session 1 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. For result, candidates will have to log in using application number and date of birth/password. Through result, subject wise and total percentile marks obtained in exam can be checked. All candidates should know how to calculate JEE Main percentile score. Marks are converted into JEE Main percentile by NTA authorities using official formula given below.
