While the students in their reviews mention that 40-100% of students get placement opportunities every year under different BTech specialisations, the NIRF report of 2022 provides data that only 30% of students (30 out of 97) got placed via the campus. Additionally, the median package stood at INR 6.80 LPA. NIT Mizoram has a sanction of around 200 seats for admission in BTech programme. For admission at MTec, NIT Mizoram offers 50 seats with five specialisations and 2 years of course duration. The Institute also offers PhD in various specialisations along side the UG and PG level programmes.
