I am grateful to study in a premium institute like mine.

Infrastructure: It is not top-notch but should be ranked higher like IITs and NITs. Hostel rooms are nice with most facilities you need. There are no restrictions for late coming and for night owls like me. The most peaceful and joyful thing is the freedom you get.

A college where I started my life and career, and it was my best choice.

Placements: Our college is more focused on research, so mostly people from IISER go for Ph.D. It will enrich their profile so if you are enthusiastic to explore the side of research, it's best to choose this. The one who is looking for a job doesn't fit here. There are placements but less compared to IITs.

A good space for students with a curious and a patient mindset.

Placements: As the placement cell of this college is still in its primitive stage, one should not expect direct placements from the college itself. Also, it is a research college; it doesn't give job-ready degrees like B.Teach and all. However, upcoming batches are also getting B.Teach, so we will see what is there in the future. You can always go off-campus; however, very few companies have visited in the past that offered 5-8 LPA on average, and to be honest, there is no reliable data for placements. You ...

The best faculty members ever I could imagine for pursuing my passion in my course.

Placements: IISERB is primarily a research institute so it does not focus on placement like that. But it does provide placement in BS Eng that is now changed into B.Tech. The average package is 17 LPA- 18 LPA. Companies like TCS Research, Adobe, MathWorks, and IBM Research.

Great professors and I loved the chemistry department.

Placements: Students often continue their academic journey by pursuing master's and doctoral degrees. IISERs have a strong collaboration with international research institutes like Max Plan. Many graduates go to DRDO, ISRO, CSIR, and R&D. Biotech companies also come here.

Detailed information about IISER Bhopal.

Placements: It's a research institute, and many students want to pursue research or a PhD after BSMS. So for this reason placement rate is low, but not zero. There are some departments that have decent placements like economic science. IISERB also has internship opportunities.

That's a great question, and it's wonderful that you're still exploring opportunities with IISER! However, for admission to the IISERs (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research), there is a specific eligibility criterion regarding the year of passing your 12th standard. The admission crit

IISER Bhopal isn't the place for a typical B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical. They're more into pure sciences and research stuff. You'll find BS-MS dual degrees, a BS in Engineering Sciences, and integrated PhD programs there—not the regular engineering tracks. If you're aiming for a classic

No, the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) do not offer standalone B.Sc. programs. Instead, they provide integrated BS-MS programs that combine undergraduate and postgraduate studies over five years. These programs emphasize research-oriented learning in disciplines like bio

The IISER Entrance Exam (IAT) application form is expected to be released around April 2025 on iiseradmission.in. Students can apply through three channels: IAT, JEE Advanced, or KVPY scores. If you are a biology student you must have pcb as your subjects but the B.Tech at IISER bhopal or at any college in India does require maths as a compulsory subject

In case you have pcmb you are totally eligible but not with PCB

thank you
