For admission to IIT Bhilai MTech course, students are admitted through a valid GATE score. As per the selection process, candidates must pass graduation with BTech from a recognised board. Further, candidates need to appear for GATE entrance exams and get a qualifying score to get shortlisted for the course. Later on, the final seat allotment is done through COAP Counselling session. Students who are graduated from IIT are exempted from the GATE entrance score requirement.

Note: For MTech, the qualifying candidates have to further apply for COAP and then apply on the official website of IIT Bhilai to proceed to confirm their admission.

After getting a PG degree in MTech, students can become Electronics and Communication Engineer, Researcher, Production Engineer, etc. Candidates with a M.Tech degree can easily get a job in almost all the sectors in India. IIT Bhilai offers a two-year M.Tech course across six specialisations. These are Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Vehicle Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics. Admission to all the M.Tech courses is through GATE followed by COAP counselling.

IIT Bhilai offers a large diversity of courses to students in various fields. IIT Bhilai admissions are held on the basis of entrance tests. Students seeking course admissions must clear their previous qualifying examination and appear for any of the prescribed entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, IIT JAM, UGC NET, CSIR NET, among others. IIT Bhilai JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to BTech specialisations. The cutoff was released for round 3, for different categories under the All India quota. Among the General AI category, the closing ranks varied between 6524 and 15325. Looking at the cutoff range, we can say that getting admission at 15000 rank is possible. However, the choice of specialisation at this rank would be very limited. 

IIT Bhilai offers admission to MSc specialisations on the basis of IIT JAM scores. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were between 523 and 613. Therefore, if you belong to the General AI category, then it is possible to get admission at 500 rank. 

IIT Bhilai JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 is out. Based on the Round 1, BTech cutoff scores ranged between 5907 and, 14302 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai must secure a maximum rank upto 14302.
