Candidates need to pay an application fee (non-refundable) in the online mode only for MSc admission at IIT Gandhinagar. However, they are required to furnish a hard copy of the application form along with a photograph and all the necessary documents in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience, and research/professional experience) at the interview time. For admission to the MSc programme of IIT Gandhinagar, IIT JAM 2024 Application forms will be available for the aspirants to fill out from September 5, 2023. IIT Madras,  the examination conducting body of IIT JAM 2024 for the academic session 2024-2026 recently activated the IIT JAM 2024 official website and also released the information brochure and IIT JAM 2024 Web poster.

The information brochure mentioned the start of the online registration for MSc courses in reputed IITs and NITs from September 5, 2023. The last date for enrolling oneself for the IIT JAM 2024 examination is October 13, 2023. If the number of applicants for the IIT JAM 2024 examination is less, they might extend the last date of filling up IIT JAM 2024 application form.

The eligibility requirements for IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) did not involve a minimum percentage or marks in Class 12 for the majority of participating institutes. The eligibility criteria for IIT JAM are largely concerned with the bachelor's degree and the minimum marks or CGPA necessary to secure in that degree.

Candidates for the IIT JAM must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate or 5.5 CGPA/CPI. Apart from it, candidates also need to submit a physical fitness certificate at the time of admissions. IIT Gandhinagar Cutoff 2024 was concluded for JEE Advanced based BTech admissions. As per the cutoff ranks, the last round closing ranks for the General AI category candidates, ranged between 1708 and 11298. BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course.

Yes, GATE 2023 exam dates (which will be valid for admission to the academic year 2024-25) have been announced. IISc Bangalore will conduct the GATE exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The GATE application form will release on Aug 24 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The organising institute for GATE is IISc Bangalore. The exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Students will be required to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). No,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIT Gandhinagar are not out yet. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. Yes, non-GATE applicants willing to get into M.Tech at IIT Gandhinagar are required to appear for the institute level entrance test. However, all candidates are required to appear for the Personal Interview round for final selection. In addition to this, BTech graduates from the IITs with CGPA/ CPI of 8.0 or above (on a scale of 10) are eligible to get admission to M.Tech at IIT Gandhinagar without GATE.
