To get admission to IIT Hyderabad on the basis of JEE Advanced, candidates must attain rank as per the category-wise cutoff list. Round 3 of the IIT Hyderabad JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released. Among the General AI category, the cutoff ranks varied between 667 and 9320, for various BTech specialisations. Therefore, for students belonging to the General AI category, it is a must to attain a rank of 9320 or below.
Students requiring M.Tech in IIT Hyderabad will be required to have an existing degree in BE/BTech or its equivalent as well as a valid and current GATE score. It is also applicable by final-year students. Additional requirements may exist at particular departments. Minimum qualifying marks are based upon specialisation and Category.
To get into IIT Hyderabad M.Tech course candidates must first have a valid qualification and secure a valid entrance exam. Admission to the M.Tech course is entrance-based. The technology institute accepts scores of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Candidates who further get shortlisted need to take part in COAP counselling. GATE conduction date for 2024 is February 3, 4, 10, and 11. IIScB is the organising authority and will conduct the exam on the above mentioned dates. The application form for the same will be released on 24th August on the official website. The exam will be conducted online as CBT for 29 papers. Candidates must solve 65 questions in 3 hours.
