My college review about infrastructure, faculty, exams, and placements.

Placements: Companies like Google, Oracle, Microsoft, etc., come for placements and internship opportunities. The highest package is nearly 60 LPA for Computer Science students, and the lowest package is about 6 LPA. Most students get placed easily in campus placements.

Infrastructure: The hostel premises are beautiful, with a lot of facilities like 24/7 Wi-Fi availability, good mess food, large rooms, and good sitting areas and guest rooms as well. The library is well stocked and full of books, which can be issued at any time. The buildings are beautiful and large. The SAC includes fast food centers, a gym, sports grounds, and a swimming pool.

Faculty: Semester exams are easy and stick to notes mostly. Faculty members teach very well, and all are highly educated and good mentors. The course curriculum is also relevant to studies, and there is a lab study to prepare us for industry exposure. The percentage passing is 37%.

Other: I wanted to opt for this course, so I got it. My course is quite interesting. The campus crowd is also large.

My college review, and I am satisfied with it.

Placements: This college provides limited placement opportunities. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and others visit every year for internship and placement programs. The highest package for a CS student, according to the 2023 list, is Max 64 LPA. Others receive packages that are lower than this.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is impressive. It has all the necessities required at any college. Medical assistance, a sports area, a gym, Nescafe, and restaurants are also available. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campus at all times. The hostel is spacious and well-maintained. Some construction work is still ongoing, but the facilities are aesthetically pleasing in every respect.

Faculty: Faculty is not so good because study as the education here is primarily classroom-based. Even though we are prepared in the labs but not so in any effective manner. All the faculty members are IIT graduates. They teach concepts related to exams only. Exams are also classroom-based. Based on tutorials and assignments.

About infrastructure and placements review.

Placements: Overall, the placement opportunities are not good here on this campus. Very less companies come every year for placements like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc. We have to find out our own placement opportunities. Good for computer science students only.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is overall good, it's amazing. All sports facilities are provided. Mess qualities are also good. Food is hygienic and tastes good. Wi-Fi is always available. Library is very big and has books of all types. Rooms are clean and big enough for each person to stay.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and good. They teach well and take classes according to the syllabus, whatever they taught in class. Something related to that only comes in the exam. Exams are also easy. Minimum 75% attendance is necessary. Three buildings are there for teaching.

I was disappointed at the start, and now, because of friends, I am loving this campus.

Placements: Upto now, 75% of students have been placed. The highest package is 64 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA in my course. In my course, the top recruiting company is Nvidia. Mainly, Lenovo and some other companies hire students. Internships are few in Rippling and Google. The top roles offered are SDE and ML.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are nice. The quality of food is okay. Rooms are new, so they maintain them properly, but single rooms are the only problem. The canteen is improving now, and it is nice. Medical facilities are okay. Sports and games have improved a lot, and now it is good.

Faculty: The pass percentage is pretty good. The difficulty level of exams is okay. Only some professors will give tough papers, and the remaining actually give easy papers only. Mainly, mechanical professors and ECE professors are actually tough. The course curriculum is good.

Other: I got this course randomly. I am not much interested in it, but later on, I got interested in this course. Nothing should be improved.

Our college provides average infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: Around 100% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 44.1 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 21 LPA. For the core domain, PSUs like IOCL, Vedanta, etc., visit our college to hire students. Amazon, Google, Oracle, Deshaw, Unacademy, Byjus, Deloitte, Goldmann Sach, etc., are the top recruiting companies.

Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi is good. Laboratories are well-maintained. Hostel facilities are excellent with a single room per student. The food served in the mess and canteen is good. There is a student activity center also. Basketball and badminton courts are available. A playground is available for sports like cricket, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent in our college. They always help students with their doubts. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 99%. Our course curriculum is relevant. Research and innovative culture is missing in our college.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Some more new courses should be added to our college. Extracurricular activities are held. Around 3 fests are organised every year.

The placements in 2021 in electronics were good.

Placements: In my course, we had 100% placements in the last sessions. The highest package offered was around 42 LPA, and the lowest package was around 12 LPA. There were placements in Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Nvidia, Ceremorphics, Paytm etc. Around 60% of students got internships in companies like Amazon, Nvidia, GE Healthcare, Accenture etc. For non-core jobs, the top role offered is SDE. For core jobs, it was hardware design role.

Infrastructure: The institute has high-speed Wi-Fi. The hostel is a bit new, so there are only a few facilities, but still, it's really good, and we get to live in single occupancy. There is manageable mess food, good canteen, medical facilities, and a sports complex.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are exceptionally bright, and they know their subjects and know how to teach and make the subject interesting. The course curriculum is relevant to the techniques required in the industry. It's really easy to pass the semester exams with a little bit of hard work.

Overall a decent college, that provides decent Placement, a good college life and great hostel Life.

Placements: The average package offered to my branch, I. e. , ECE is 21 L. p. a. CTC. The CTC is even higher for CSE but certainly decreases from EE to Mech to civil and meta. This year most famous MNCs visited like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Google, Adobe, etc. And CSE and ECE and EE got almost 100% placement. An internship here is a bit difficult but you don't have to care about placement.

Infrastructure: The college is under construction, and many advanced designs are made for the buildings but right now out of 1000 acres of allotted land only 350 acres are used and it contains 3 boys hostels each of capacity 800 and 2 girls hostels of capacity (400+200). It has a well-built basketball Court and Community centre and yahh complete greenery.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are ex-students of IIT Kgp and they teach well. Some profs are a bit strict but most of the ECE professors are chill and don't behave as rudely as the mech professor. The connections of the professors are really great and can be very helpful to provide research interns in other IITs or abroad Universities.

Placements: I am a 1st-year student of electronics and communication at IIT BBS. The placement scenario in 2020 is pretty much good, and above 160 students received job offers. The placement percentage is increasing sharply as compared to the previous year. More than 87% of the undergraduate students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA which is grabbed by 10 students of IIT Bhubaneswar. The average salary package offered is 15.85 LPA, and students also got PPOs from big companies. Many core companies and PSUs like IOCL, ISRO and big tech companies like Amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, TCS and R&D visited. Cricut branches like electrical engineering got the highest placements in terms of percentage. The rest of the students went for higher studies and civil services, and more than 60% of the students got internships from our branch.

Infrastructure: IIT BBS infrastructure has been successfully managed. The permanent campus of IIT BBS is spreading over 960 acres. They constructed a new swimming pool and 2 hostels in which one is for boys, and one is for girls. You can use Wi-Fi services 24 hours, but it has a limitation on data uses. Labs and classrooms are fully air-conditioned with the required things. There is a canteen, and the quality of mess food is also the best. IIT BBS also provides wide scope in sports.

Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified, and they are always ready to help. Professors have much knowledge about their subjects. Overall, the teaching quality is better. They also guide the professional and personal growth of students. Compared to other IITs, the administration is very strict. Exams are also conducted in a very good manner, even in online classes. Almost 98% of the students have passed in the semesters.

Other: I watch in our daily life, a lot of things are related to electronics, which seems me interested, so I gave it a priority. There are many things that students can explore in many fields. Our college has technical societies named Neuro for coding and Risc for electronics and others like drama, literature, music, etc. There are also three fests like a technical fest named Wissenaire, a cultural fest named Alma Fiesta and an entrepreneurship fest named E-Summit. Our institute also provides merit-cum scholarships for students, and students can do a lot of other activities and academics activities.
