Really good infrastructure.
Placements: The highest package was 65 LPA last year, and the average is around 27 LPA for my branch. Nearly 90 percent+ got placed last year. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Flipkart, etc. The same percentage of students got internships, and those were in Google, LibreOffice, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, but it is not optimized to work for Windows, and we have a lot of problems connecting Windows to the Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well structured. The library is also well built and has great facilities. Food in the hostel is sometimes good and sometimes not. Medical facilities are provided for free, and we have a sports complex and a large ground on the campus for most sports.
Faculty: Teaching quality is mostly good, except for a few professors who didn’t know how to teach, and we had some problems in those courses. Nearly every student, but not all professors, are like that. Semester exams are not that tough and are according to what we are taught.

College is situated in the foothills of Himalayas and provides so much positivity.
Placements: It has been 100 percent placement this year. CSE has an average package greater than 29 LPA. The highest package has been around 1 CPA, and the lowest is around 15 LPA. Companies like FAANG, MAANG, and top HFTs have come to our campus. Placement is so awesome, but apparently we have to work hard too.
Infrastructure: Department of each branch has huge infrastructure and labs worth 1.5 crores. Everywhere in the campus there is availability of Wi-Fi facilities. Hostels are good, but due to increasing seats, the space might become congested. Mess provides decent food, but it can be worse.
Faculty: Faculty have excellent qualifications, some have done dual PhDs and are currently teaching. Semester exams are tough as brilliant brains qualify in IITs. Courses are totally industry-organized, and faculty teaches them fluently. The students who don’t study will fail, but hardworking ones succeed.

Great package, but a small campus.
Placements: 100 percent of students have been placed in the computer science course. The highest package is 90 LPA, the lowest is 17 LPA, and the average is 30 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Adobe. Nearly 80 percent of the batch got an internship by 3rd year in companies like Microsoft and Samsung. Top roles offered are SWE and product manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available is great, but less compared to the number of students. Hostel infrastructure and cleanliness are great, but rooms are a bit cramped, the mess food is sometimes good and sometimes very bad. Sports (especially badminton) facilities are great. Medical facilities are also up to date.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but not all are helpful. The course curriculum is incredibly relevant for industry work, with courses like the design practicum, which teaches students the entire process of designing and implementing a product. The semester exams are not too difficult, with only maybe 2-3 students (out of 100) failing any course.

Very strong placements with a peaceful lifestyle in the mountains of the Himalayas.
Placements: Almost 95 percent of the total students participating in placements are placed, and it is 100 percent for CSE branch. In CSE, the highest package is 80 LPA, and average was 29 LPA, with the lowest being 6 LPA. Top recruiters were Amazon, Adobe, Infosys, HCL, Microsoft, Mahindra, JP Morgan, Samsung, Tata Motors and TCS. On-campus internship was done by 41% students
Infrastructure: There are every possible facilities available in our course, but only thing that may be troublesome for some students is the 4 sharing rooms for 1st year students. Mess food quality also decreased after a couple of months, but is restored upon complaint to the dean's office.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful and obviously highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good because teachers also provided 2nd language tutorials for state board students. Course curriculum is relevant and revised. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams were quite difficult in some courses, depending on the faculty, but as grading is relatively fair, it makes sense.
Other: The best thing about this course is placement and the mountains. But it could be better with some more effort from mess workers' side. Events are frequently organised, but they are located in very remote locations, so the crowd is not very large.

Really good infrastructure and facilities, but they can always be better.
Placements: This year in my branch, everyone got placed. I am not sure about the highest package, as far as I know it's around 90 LPA. The average is 30 LPA. I am quite fascinated by the placement rate. As far as I know, an internship is quite good. I am 1st year student, so I don't know much about it.
Infrastructure: It's a newer IIT that is second-generation III, so the hostels are good. One thing I don't like is that we are four people in a room, which I think is a room for 2 people. The Wi-Fi facility is good. The food can be better, and for sports and games, it's above satisfactory.
Faculty: The teachers are all very qualified and are highly experienced. Every professor had a different style of teaching. I think the course curriculum is very much relevant, and it does make students industry-ready. The semester exams are not as easy as one would expect, the pass percentage varies for each professor. For some, it's relatively, and for some it's absolute.
Other: I chose this course because from the beginning I wanted to be in tech, that's why you chose Tier-2 IIT CSE above other branches in top IITs. The placement here in CSE is great. I think the mess food can be better.

It's the most beautiful college with such a beautiful environment, It's lovely.
Placements: Almost all are placed. We have many companies that visit our college for hiring, including Japanese, Indian, and US companies. It's a very good opportunity to be part of such a college, as there's less competition or fewer students vying for a role, leading to more opportunities.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is good, and all the required facilities are in the hostel as well. We have laundry, a pantry, sports rooms, a fan, a table, a chair, and an almira (cupboard), everything in our rooms. Wi-Fi facilities, well-established labs, and nice classrooms with a projector, board and AC.
Faculty: Exams are conducted fairly, and the faculty are helpful and easily approachable. The curriculum keeps changing according to growing requirements, and such a good curriculum is a blessing. Semester exams are at a good level, if you study in class and keep studying, you can perform better.
Other: Events happen thrice every year. We have gym, swimming pool, sports, and club facilities.

Collection is awesome, such a beautiful location.
Placements: 90% of students got placed. The highest salary is about 1 crore, and the lowest salary is about 5 LPA. Recruiting companies include Atlassian, Nvidia, Google, and Microsoft. 90% of students got internships. Software developer and website developer are the roles offered. Truly speaking in this IIT, we are given everything and because of less strength of students its easy to get placed in top MNCs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteens, medical, classroom with AC, sports, mess, and all are available on campus. We have common room, study room, Wi-Fi, vending machine, pantry room, and laundry room. We also have table, chair, and almirah in hostel. Its a good experience to live on such a beautiful campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and reachable as required for internships and placements. Exams are easy going. I really feel faculty members here are very good, they cover all course related stuff which is quite helpful in industrial work as well. We have lots of projects to do in the semester which are good enough.
Other: I chose this course for the IIT tag.

IIT Mandi has excellent placement, infrastructure, faculty and facilities.
Placements: My batch contains 568 students. There are 80 students in my course which is CSE. In this year, almost 60 to 70 percent of students were placed in placements. The highest package is 71 LPA offered by Microsoft. The average package is 12 to 13 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiter companies in the tech field are Microsoft, Google, Adobe, TCS, etc. All of the above companies recruit students of the 3rd year for internships. And 50 to 60 percent of students were placed for internships. Top roles in these companies are software engineer, web developer, app developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of courses in IIT Mandi is excellent. Free Wi-Fi is available for students in every hostel, classroom, and library. All buildings of IIT Mandi are new. Classrooms have AC facility, charging points at every bench, a study environment, and are in excellent condition. A central library is present there which contains over 50,000 books. Hostel facility is also excellent in IIT Mandi. There are available indoor games (table tennis, etc.), washing machines, Wi-Fi, theater, geysers, water coolers, iron, security, and much more facilities for students. The health center of IIT Mandi has good connections with excellent doctors. All types of medical issues can be solved there and only 1500 rupees per year are paid for all medical facilities. Mess food is good. Canteen food is highly expensive. All sports facilities are available there.
Faculty: Course curriculum at IIT Mandi is well-structured and focuses on practical application. The curriculum is relevant to industry and practical learning. The faculty of IIT Mandi is highly qualified and expert in their own field. All teachers are helpful, supportive, and encourage students to grow and excel in their life. Teaching quality is good. College takes two exams in one semester. One is mid-semester and another is the final which is the end-semester exam. The level of both exams is easy to moderate. Almost 100 percent of students pass these exams.
