Apart from the above-mentioned courses, IIT Roorkee offers a PG Diploma programme for sponsored candidates across three specialisations. The duration of the programme is one year. For IIT Roorkee admission to PG diploma courses, candidates need to appear for GATE, followed by COAP Counselling. To get admission in IIT Roorkee, students have to check the eligibility first. Eligible students can then apply online. The institute selects students on an entrance basis. As per the details for the General AI category, the overall percentile required was 95 and 50 percentile was needed for the Quants, VA

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.

IIT Roorkee doesn't offer PhD in Design course through CEED. It only offers a MDes in Industrial Design. Admission to the M.Des programme will be based on CEED 2026 merit rank. The candidate will have to apply directly to the participating college once results are declared.
