IIT Ropar Cutoff 2026: Check JEE Advanced Round Wise Closing Ranks

IIT Ropar JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the BTech courses for the first round. The cutoff was out in the form of ranks for different AI quota categories.

For the EWS category students, the maximum closing rank required in JEE Advanced was 416 for admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. IIT Ropar CSE cutoff 2026 was 416 in the first round for students belonging to the General AI quota. Similarly, for IIT Patna and IIT Mandi, the closing ranks were 3303 and 3609, respectively, during the Round 1 admission. Analysing the first-round closing ranks, the competition for CSE admission was higher for IIT Ropar, followed by IIT Patna and IIT Mandi in the General AI category.

For the OBC category students, the GATE cutoff scores ranged between 335 and 610 up to Round 6 for M.Tech admission across multiple specialisations. Yes, candidates with a GATE score of 700 can get into IIT Ropar. However, as per the GATE COAP 2026 cutoff scores, admission to the CSE branch is not possible up to five rounds, as the required cutoff scores till Round five were very competitive (more than 700). During Round 6 of the IIT Ropar MTech cutoff 2026, the CSE was 690 for the General AI category students. Hence, chances are high for a student to get a CSE seat with a score of 700 in Round 6 admission.
