Right time to solve IIAD DAT Sample Paper
Candidates should make a habit of solving at least one sample paper a week to prepare for the exam.
- Start solving the IIAD DAT sample papers only after you have completed the IIAD DAT syllabus.
- If you haven't completed the IIAD DAT Syllabus, solving IIAD DAT sample papers will be of no use to you, as you won't be able to solve the questions correctly. Thus, first, complete the syllabus, ensure you are thorough with all the topics, and then move to solve the sample paper.
- The ideal time to start solving them is three months before the exam.

IIAD DAT questions can have MCQ, Match the Columns, Fill in the blanks, image-based and comprehension based. No, you cannot apply to IIAD DAT 2026 if you don't meet the eligibility criteria.
It is responsibility of the candidate to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the IIAD entrance exam 2026.
If the candidate doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria, they mustn’t apply. Exam officials will verify the eligibility and any candidate who is found lacking will be disqualified. Also, if a candidate fakes their eligibility, they may be disqualified and might also face criminal charges.

Candidates can check some of the last-minute preparation tips for the design entrance exam below:
- Revision is Essential – Candidates should concentrate on revision. All of the topics and chapters they've studied should be thoroughly reviewed so that they don't forget anything important throughout the exam. Candidates should not skip any days of revision.
- Attempt Mock Tests – Candidates should practise with the sample papers that will be provided once the IIAD DAT Applications are submitted successfully. Mock exams are one of the most effective ways to determine your level of preparation and what else you can do to improve your IIAD Exam result.
- Concentrate on Important Topics – As such, the college has not provided any official syllabus for the examination. But, with the help of sample papers and previous years IIAD DAT question papers, a candidate will be able to gain that confidence and become familiar with the examination style.
- Work on your observation and drawing skills. Practice one sketch daily.
- You must practice all types of drawing, at least the basics. For instance, you can work on shading once you are done with the basic drawing stuff.
