IIIT Ranchi MTech is two years course offered in a full-time mode. The PG-level programme is offered across multiple specialisations, including Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Design Thinking and Innovation, Autonomous Connected Electric Vehicles, etc. MTech in Machine Learning and Data Science course is designed to train students in the latest technologies and techniques in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence. MTech in Embedded Systems and IoT course is designed to train students in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
IIIT Ranchi MTech admission is entrance-based. Candidates must have a valid score in the national-level exam GATE. Further, candidates must apply via the official website of IIIT Ranchi. Eligibility: BE/ BTech (Hons) in CSE/ IT/ ECE/ Telecommunication / Electronics and Instrumentation with 60% aggregate/ CGPA of 6 for UR/ EWS /OBC candidates and 55% aggregate/ CGPA of 5.5 for SC/ ST/ PC candidates from a recognised institute/ university

- Physically Challenged (PC) persons are required to upload a certificate of disability from the authorised medical board attached to one of the following: Vocational Rehabilitation Centre (VRC) for Physically Handicapped persons/ Special Employment Exchange for Physically Handicapped/ Government Hospital (district and state level)
