Review of Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi.
Placements: So, honestly speaking, mostly Hons. courses don't get any placements because it's a non-technical degree but people who are a part of the placement cell do get good opportunities and offers for internships and jobs with a good stipend. The placement cell offers a lot of opportunities throughout the year.
Infrastructure: The beauty this building holds is beyond words. This campus is really beautiful and huge. There is a two-tier library totally air-conditioned. Classes for lectures are huge, and there are different small classes for tutorials. They're air-conditioned lab classes for computer science and psychology students. There are two hostels, one on the campus (KG hostel) and the other just opposite the road of the college (IP hostel). KG is not air-conditioned and has 130 rooms (two students in each room) and IP has around 100 rooms, and some of IP's rooms are air-conditioned. The mess food is nice. We have a medical room for an emergency and a huge sports field.
Faculty: Faculty is really nice, I must say; they are really nice, highly knowledgeable and approachable. Students can ask about doubt regarding anything, academic-related doubt or administrative work, and they try to fix the problem if they are capable of it. Professors have their PhD degree and teach really well; philosophy as a subject in itself is interesting and vast; people underestimate it; it teaches you a lot of things as a person too. Semester exams are easy if you study well , and previous year questions really help a lot. 33% marks are required to pass.
Other: I chose philosophy because I really liked the syllabus; it was interesting and I was intrigued with the reading we were told to study , the authors and philosophers such as Kant, Aristotle, and J.S. Mill. Their theories are really interesting and new, and many people actually don't know what philosophy is. Campus crowd is good, girls are helpful and cheerful in nature and somewhere, girls in college provide a sense of security. Campus is really beautiful, and we have different societies here: drama society, music society, dance society, debate society, etc. People can take their chance to be a part of it by giving their annual audition. Fest was nice, less people, good crowd, food stalls, crocheted items, etc. are good.

Really good infrastructure and academics.
Placements: It depends on the course you are opting for. If you have B.Com (Hons) or a course like CS, then you'll get good placements. There are also placements available in Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, and English. It ultimately depends on the student's capacity and performance.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, along with CS labs, psychology labs, and more. The library has three floors. There are two hostels: Kalavati Gupta and IP Hostel (with air-conditioned rooms). Medical facilities are also provided, along with a gymnasium and swimming pool.
Faculty: Every professor is Ph.D. qualified. You can score at least 5 CGPA to pass from your existing semester. There are three core subjects for my course, along with optional subjects like SEC, VAC, GEC, and AEC, which can be chosen according to preference. My course doesn't necessarily make a student industry-ready.
Other: I got this course based on my rank and merit. There are events, seminars, and festivals that take place regularly, and our college enhances the spirit of ethnicity and diversity.

Placements: Internships are offered in this course. You will be paid for working with top companies. Our college has ranked top 50. Many opportunities are available at this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Our campus has good environment. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Computer laboratories are better. There is a huge library. The food served in the hostel is great. We have peacocks, cats, dogs, and birds on our campus. There is a museum in this college. Our college was 100 years old and it was designed by Britisher.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. The syllabus is very good. Semester exams are conducted after every 6 months. The exams are very difficult.
Other: It is a women's college so the campus crowd is average. Events, fests, and extra-curricular activities are conducted. Our campus is eco-friendly.

It is the best college and like a second home.
Placements: Placement opportunities provided for the philosophy department are basically related to digital marketing. Salary packages offered are above average. Many students got placed, and many of them did well in internships. Roles offered are sales and management, content writing and others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very beautiful. The ambience of our college is at its best with natural beauty. There is a library, sports room, seminar halls, auditorium, labs, etc. Everything which students need is available in our college to enhance their ability and growth.
Faculty: The student-teacher relationship is very beautiful and helpful. Faculty members are very talented and experienced. Even in the online mode of education, they provided us with the best knowledge to help us with our assignments and exams. Materials provided and the method of teaching are very effective and helpful.
Other: I have chosen philosophy as it helps to know the base of everything. It is a study that makes you think about the ways of something happening. Due to the covid outbreak, I wasn't able to attend the fest, but seniors told us that the fest organised is huge and very enthusiastic.

Our college has great teachers and is best known for its infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students opt for higher studies and apply for a master programme after completing their graduation. However, our college placement cell provides some above-average salary packages for students. Some of the major placement profiles provided are from the marketing and business sector companies that recruit from all the departments. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. However, it is a good amount if students plan to pursue a master or UPSC while working. Along with job placements, the cell provides numerous internships with different profiles with diversified perks. This helps students to get hands-on experience and a good stipend also.
Infrastructure: Our department, i.e., philosophy, facilitates some amazing events, plays and workshops. Basically, it creates a platform to apply your theoretical knowledge in your practical life.
Faculty: Our department has fantastic faculty members. They are exceptionally qualified, knowledgeable and focused mentors for students. As I graduated this year, the best thing here is that I got the best professors and the best mentors to study. The curriculum was designed in such a way that it has a practical outlook so that students get the best experience having practical knowledge side by side. I was advised to apply here as a faculty member of the philosophy department in Gargi college. The infrastructure and the curriculum are much better.
Other: Delhi University is known for its fest season, extra-curricular activities, building connections and basically living your life on North or South Campus. Most of the colleges of Delhi University are situated in posh locations giving students an edge to hang out at their favourite spots. There are dramatics and dance societies in our college for a great experience.
