Diverse learning, vibrant campus, helpful faculty; needs curriculum update and inclusivity.
Placements: Around 50% of students pursued higher education, while the other 50% took up jobs or internships. The highest and the lowest package varied depending on individual skills, as only a small percentage participated in placements. Top recruiting companies included food and nutrition giants like Tops India and Coca-Cola. All students undertook internships in their final year to gain practical experience.
Infrastructure: The college is small and lacks a large campus, but it provides essential facilities. Wi-Fi is available but works only in certain areas. Labs are well-equipped for all specializations, including food and nutrition, human development, and communication, with necessary tools and standardized resources. The library is spacious, with a separate reading room and three computer labs (for UG, PG, and faculty). There is no hostel; students arrange their accommodation independent. The canteen serves hygienic, nutritious food, monitored by food and nutrition students. Sports facilities include a gym, badminton and basketball courts, yoga, and activities like Judo and Taekwondo.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing notes sufficient for exams. Serious preparation even a week before exams can result in good marks. While some teachers integrated new industry-relevant examples, the course curriculum feels outdated and requires update to align with modern industrial needs. Exams are not very difficult, and about 85?95% of students pass comfortable, often scoring well with diligent effort.
Other: I chose this course due to my marks and my parents' advice. Despite initial doubts, I appreciated the diversity of topics beyond food, such as human development, psychology, economics, and Human Physiology which made the course engaging. However, the course needs inclusivity, as both gender should study it to break stereotypes. College life was vibrant, with frequent events, a lively crowd, scholarships, and ample extracurricular activities, making the experience truly memorable.

We can definitely go for it. It's an excellent choice.

Our college has good teachers.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements however during college days we went to various field visits which were very informative. Teachers also provided us internship opportunities. In the department of human development and childhood studies, there is a preschool "Aarambh" where students can do internships. Other than this our batchmates also did internship in mobile creches.
Infrastructure: The college provided us with Wi-Fi but many times we face network issues as the Wi-Fi connection is poor and connectivity is good only in certain areas. In-home science hons we have various labs for different subjects including food lab, microbiology lab, botany lab, human development lab, textile lab, physics and chemistry lab, etc. There are a variety of lab instruments and they are in good working conditions. The library also provides a variety of books however seating space is limited. Coming to the canteen food, prices are very affordable. Lastly, there is a basketball court and a sports society.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have deep knowledge. The course offers a variety of career options in fields like child development, textile, food and nutrition, communication, extension, and resource management. Semester exam are of moderate level.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a wide variety of career options. It's a growing sector and all the subjects are really interesting. The fest takes place every year where we get to enjoy a lot. The college is situated in hauz khas where there are many places for students to explore and enjoy college life with friends.

I'm satisfied because of teaching techniques. It's really good facilities, infrastructure etc.
Placements: I think around 30% of students in my course (Bs. C (Hons) Home Science) got internships. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000-Rs. 35,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 24,000-Rs. 22,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Nestle, Amul, etc. I don't know exactly how many students got internships, but I think 25%-40% got them. Top role offered was nutritionist.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facility, but sometimes it is not working. Proper labs, classrooms, library, canteen, specifically computer lab are available so that we can easily do all assignments. Our college does not provide a hostel. I'm also not a hosteller, so I don't know.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful for exams. At the end, we get extra classes. Teaching quality is awesome. The knowledge provided to students is in an easy way to understand. Exams are not very difficult. Pass percentage is around 50%.
Other: I like Home Science since my school days, so I chose B.Sc. (Hons) in Home Science. I think there are more theory classes than practical. Events and fests are organized.

It has a good learning experience.
Placements: The placement cell in the Institute of Home Economics is active but limited in terms of opportunities. Only a small percentage of students get placed, mostly in education, NGOs, or internships. Many students prefer higher studies or competitive exams. The college focuses more on skill development than direct job placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average. Classrooms are decent, and labs have basic equipment. Wi-Fi is slow and often unreliable. Hostel facilities are manageable, but the quality of the mess food needs improvement. Sports facilities and medical help are limited.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The teaching methods should be more interactive and easy. The course curriculum is fairly relevant but needs updating for better industry alignment. Exams are moderately tough, and the average pass rate is decent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the field and the practical exposure it provides. The best part is the supportive faculty and hands-on learning. I wish campus events and extracurricular activities were more frequent. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse.
