I'm not satisfied due to the low placement rate, as well as the infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Not a very high percentage of students are placed. I think the lowest package is 2.5 LPA and the highest is up to 6 LPA. Amul, Mother Dairy, or other private companies recruit. There's no fixed percentage for internships; those who want to can do internships. Students can get jobs in the QC department. There's no particular demand for internships during the first year, but students have to apply for internships during the second and third years for future job prospects.
Infrastructure: In classrooms, all the required facilities are available. In the hostel, the infra is not so good, and proper hygiene was not there, but food provided was sufficient, a 4-course full meal was provided and is good in taste. The canteen in our college is not properly hygiene maintained, the utensils are cleaned outside in a dirty environment. Games and sports facilities are also available in college for students.
Faculty: Faculty is good, they teach us well. There are some practicals performed which were useful also in the industry. The student is ready. The semester exams are not tough, 95% of students pass the exams. The main thing about this course is that it was easy to learn, and also, students can get both practical and theoretical knowledge.
Other: I chose this course to develop knowledge in the field of food technology; the best thing is that this course provides practical knowledge also. The fest in our college is organized two times a year and it was good. Not so much connectivity is there. Scholarship is provided for students whose family have low LPA. Extracurricular activities are performed.

Nice infrastructure with amazing societies, clubs, and cells that promote co-curricular activities.
Placements: The placement scenario for my course in the college was not very up to the mark. However, the faculty provided you with further options. Mostly, people went for higher studies such as MBA or M.Sc. Even after a Bachelor, one could go and hunt for jobs in the food-related industry.
Infrastructure: The hostel was nice with good security that checked the identity and maintained records before and after exiting the hostel premises. The hostel was situated inside the campus, which made it easier and more convenient. Hostel life was something everyone must have experienced. It was fun.
Faculty: Semester exams were held in a very organized manner, and teachers were quite serious regard no cheating. There was random checking to ensure that no cheating was done by any means. Water was provided during the examination in order to help students cope with their exam stress.
Other: The overall experience was quite good, with me getting amazing friends and great opportunities. There were amazing competitions and exposure, which ensured overall growth along with great academics.

I'm satisfied with college, makes you market-ready in food technology.
Placements: Many students got placed but after graduation, students are inclined towards masters which provides key opportunities. Talking about food technology, food companies are approached. Teachers referral is a game changer. Salary offered is Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. Role offered is food technologist.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, it is one of the best colleges. Rooms are quite spacious and environment is soothing. Hostel rooms are cleaned and well-maintained. Security is top-notch. Mess food sometimes is not tasty but is palatable. Sports and games are well-organized.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Course curriculum is excellent and it does make students industry-ready, owing to practical classes and internships one can get hands-on experience in the field and easily navigate the life path. Exams are moderately difficult.
Other: Food technology is an emerging subject, students can build a good career in this field. Placement level should improve. Events and curricular activities are well-managed.

Shaheed Rajguru College: One of the Best Colleges for Food Technology with Amazing Faculty Members.
Placements: For our course, there is no placement from our college side. We have to find internships on our own. Only some details of the companies are given to us by the internship and placement cell to contact and ask for any opportunity, but the details they give are also not correct.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. Classrooms have ACs, projectors, boards, etc. Wi-Fi is also given but only for college use and for the e-library. The hostel is nice with good food, and the canteen is also fine. Medical facilities are not good. Sports and games clubs are very active. We also have a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful. Even after college hours, they help us by message or text. The curriculum is relevant, but I am not sure whether it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty average. It all depends upon how well you have studied; they are not difficult. The passing percentage is more than 55%.
Other: The science behind food has always fascinated me, like how it remains good for so long, what technology is used behind it, etc. I also thought that food is a sector where opportunities are more and will never decline. Fests happen like the annual fest, Spardha (sports fest), technical fest, and events like Diwali Mela and others also keep happening. The campus crowd is great because it is a women's college. Connectivity is good, but compared to other DU colleges, it is very far and off-location. Many scholarships are given by Delhi University, but mostly for first-year students.

Our college is beautiful and the environment is good.
Placements: The class strength is 40. The highest salary package offered is above 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 1 LPA. Fssai, WHO, RDA, and mango food companies visit the college. Internships are not provided. Our batchmates try to find internships at the college. Roles are not offered by the college management.
Infrastructure: Air conditioners are provided in the college for students. Our classrooms are very good in condition. The greenery is well-organized in the college. A lift is available. The canteen is average. The quality food is provided. Medical facilities are good. A gym area is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and supportive. They are ready to explain the industry level. They organize industrial visits. Semester exams are average. They give nice space in the exam to prepare well for exams. The seating area is also well-placed.
Other: I chose this course because I want to settle at the industry level and complete the syllabus before exams. Events are held. Fests are well-organized.

The titans of Rajguru and for a better life.
Placements: The placements are very well planned. Around 10 students from my class were selected by the teachers for appropriate placement jobs, with the required CV for admission. The placements provide students exposure to a wider, deeper knowledge of the subject.
Infrastructure: The interior infrastructure is beautifully laid out, and the campus is clean and neat. The labs are well-equipped with all the necessary tools, and the classrooms have good lighting, fans, and proper ventilation. The mess provides good food, and the seating arrangements are comfortable.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers is excellent, with a broad knowledge of the subject. The curriculum is relevant and gives us a deeper understanding, providing more knowledge on the topics. The semester exams are well-planned.

Good faculty, no placements here, avg infrastructure, well-maintained labs, and lecture halls.
Placements: Most of the students here go for further higher studies. There is a placement cell, but it's not very active. There are no campus placements. You have to make your efforts for opportunities and placements. There is a very high percentage of students who go for higher education like M.Sc. or MBA rather than getting placed.
Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained laboratories and lecture rooms. It has a canteen with moderate food. The college has a big library of 3 floors with all the materials and books required by the students. Although there is no Wi-Fi connection on the campus. There is a ground for sports activities and a badminton court. The college has its gym. Most of the labs and the gym are air-conditioned. There is a girls' hostel on the premises. All the basic facilities are provided there.
Faculty: The course I am pursuing is B.Sc. (H) Food Technology. I chose this because of my interest in food and its manufacturing. There are very few colleges (4) in DU that offer this course. The faculty here is very supportive and experienced in their field. They are highly qualified and have very deep knowledge. They are very fun-loving and strict at the same time. They make the topics understandable by their ways of teaching. The exams here are semester-wise (2 exams per year). The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. Most of the students pass. The college also provides some scholarships for financially weak students. The overall experience is good.
Other: The college life here is of a moderate level. The college organizes its annual cultural fest called Karvaan every year in March or April. It also organizes Departmental fests in October or November. The college consists of many cultural and non-cultural societies and clubs from dance, arts, drama, and singing, to many others. It has its sports department with experienced teachers and trainers. The college also has its own girls' hostel on its premises. The food quality is good. It has a fixed menu. All the basic facilities are provided in the hostel. The hostel is strict in its rules and regulations. Registration in the hostel is through the official website of the college. There are many PGs available within a 2-3 km range of the college.

Good faculty, but poor placement. Good course and education experience.
Placements: The placement scope is very poor. Most students go for higher studies since graduation in this course will not give u much salary. Mother Dairy, Coca-Cola, etc. are some companies where students have jobs. Internship are not really provided but LOR is given so that you can apply for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty good; the campus is not that big but overall it is kept nicely maintained. Wi-Fi is a joke, labs are good, most equipment is present, classrooms are okay but could have been better with AC in them, and the and the library is really nice, with three floors with electronic book facilities. The canteen is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is pretty nice. This course is very curriculum relevant and it makes students industry-ready since most important experiments are performed in the labs. The semester exams are pretty easy if you have studied well.
