It has a good learning experience.
Placements: The placement cell in the Institute of Home Economics is active but limited in terms of opportunities. Only a small percentage of students get placed, mostly in education, NGOs, or internships. Many students prefer higher studies or competitive exams. The college focuses more on skill development than direct job placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average. Classrooms are decent, and labs have basic equipment. Wi-Fi is slow and often unreliable. Hostel facilities are manageable, but the quality of the mess food needs improvement. Sports facilities and medical help are limited.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The teaching methods should be more interactive and easy. The course curriculum is fairly relevant but needs updating for better industry alignment. Exams are moderately tough, and the average pass rate is decent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the field and the practical exposure it provides. The best part is the supportive faculty and hands-on learning. I wish campus events and extracurricular activities were more frequent. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse.

Our college has good teachers.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements however during college days we went to various field visits which were very informative. Teachers also provided us internship opportunities. In the department of human development and childhood studies, there is a preschool "Aarambh" where students can do internships. Other than this our batchmates also did internship in mobile creches.
Infrastructure: The college provided us with Wi-Fi but many times we face network issues as the Wi-Fi connection is poor and connectivity is good only in certain areas. In-home science hons we have various labs for different subjects including food lab, microbiology lab, botany lab, human development lab, textile lab, physics and chemistry lab, etc. There are a variety of lab instruments and they are in good working conditions. The library also provides a variety of books however seating space is limited. Coming to the canteen food, prices are very affordable. Lastly, there is a basketball court and a sports society.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have deep knowledge. The course offers a variety of career options in fields like child development, textile, food and nutrition, communication, extension, and resource management. Semester exam are of moderate level.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a wide variety of career options. It's a growing sector and all the subjects are really interesting. The fest takes place every year where we get to enjoy a lot. The college is situated in hauz khas where there are many places for students to explore and enjoy college life with friends.

We can definitely go for it. It's an excellent choice.
Placements: Our college offers a solid placement experience. While non-technical students may find fewer opportunities, there is room for improvement in security and placements across diverse industries. Comprehensive career support makes it a good choice for students.
Infrastructure: It is a renowned institution for higher education, boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to support both academic and extracurricular activities. University aims to provide students with a modern, comfortable, and conducive environment for learning.
Faculty: Our college provide students with a strong foundation in Home Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, B.El.Ed., and more. Courses span four years, with a balanced mix of theory, practical work, industry exposure, and research opportunities.

I'm satisfied because of teaching techniques. It's really good facilities, infrastructure etc.
Placements: I think around 30% of students in my course (Bs. C (Hons) Home Science) got internships. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000-Rs. 35,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 24,000-Rs. 22,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Nestle, Amul, etc. I don't know exactly how many students got internships, but I think 25%-40% got them. Top role offered was nutritionist.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facility, but sometimes it is not working. Proper labs, classrooms, library, canteen, specifically computer lab are available so that we can easily do all assignments. Our college does not provide a hostel. I'm also not a hosteller, so I don't know.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful for exams. At the end, we get extra classes. Teaching quality is awesome. The knowledge provided to students is in an easy way to understand. Exams are not very difficult. Pass percentage is around 50%.
Other: I like Home Science since my school days, so I chose B.Sc. (Hons) in Home Science. I think there are more theory classes than practical. Events and fests are organized.

Dissatisfied with the faculty.
Placements: Max. 400 students were enrolled in the course; only 0.1% got placement through college, whereas most of the children found the internship and placement by themselves. Only small startup firms were there to recruit. They are providing basic knowledge of professional skills only, and still students are not getting valuable skills to get placement. Because basic is not enough, it needs to be brought to an intermediate or advanced level.
Infrastructure: The college is efficiently providing the Wi-Fi, labs, and classroom. Also, air and ventilation facilities are being improved. But the quality of the food in the canteen wasn't that good, and they are providing a limited menu of food. The canteen is not completely developed as the area is small. Class timings are very long, due to which we didn't get time to engage in sports and games.
Faculty: Only a few professors were knowledgeable and qualified in teaching. Most of them were not making great efforts to provide education. Also, the course curriculum wasn't relevant that much; it needs to be advanced. It doesn't make industry ready. The semester exams are intermediately tough. Pass percentage is the same for different colleges. At least 50% is required to pass.
Other: The reason for choosing this college and course was to not get selected in NEET. I wish I could invest my time in gaining some useful skills instead of wasting it in the college period. In the name of events, they provide interesting annual festivals only, whereas all other events are boring. General student scholarships are circulated among students only for reserved categories.
