Good course, bad college to choose.

Placements: The placements were usually from IT companies and not the premier ones like Infosys or wipro or qualcomm. These were majorly call centres and BPOs like sutherland, justdial and companies that offered a measly salary of 12000-15000 a month. We had no internship opportunities and well among the entire 54 students only one was placed and that too in sutherland as a voice process operation engineer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was absent. The classrooms are moderate and manageable, sports involvement was practically very less, girls were invited to play volleyball and boys for cricket. Only two per class among 54 students. The canteen food was good towards the final year but it was expensive. The labs usually had old equipment and uncalibrated instruments. The hostel had no water most of the time and students had to bathe on the terrace particularly on week days.

Faculty: Some of the teachers were very helpful particularly Mr J saravanan who is still present there as well as Mr Barath kumar. The head of the department is just for show, she was bad at taking classes and only made the first ranker to take countless seminars and classes. The faculty student ratio was 1:15 which is very bad. The staff usually recited what the books had and just made us memorize stuff and write the exact same material. We had no internship or industrial exposure but we studied the entire syllabus just to get a hang of the course.

Other: We had a symposium called Inscaliber once in two years and select students were allowed to visit other colleges for symposiums. Extra curricular activities were not so promoted there.

I will not recommend this college to any student.

Placements: There was no placement. No core companies offered jobs. They gave priority only to Anna university rank holders.

Infrastructure: No good infrastructure. There was no hygiene in the canteen and the food was the worst. There were no medical facilities. If you join this college forget about sports and games. Hostel food was the worst.

Faculty: Faculty members had no subject knowledge. They focused on rote learning and no practical knowledge was provided. They only focused on the marks.

Other: I chose this college as it was near my house. No sports, no cultural and industrial visits.
