JIPMER Pondicherry MD Courses & Fees 2025: Dates, Eligibility & Selection, Application Process

JIPMER is ranked five among the top medicine colleges in India in the NIRF rankings 2024. Thus, it is a good institute for medical students. During the three years of the course, 10 months are of peripheral posting and remaining 26 months include ward duties. Overall six months time is sufficent for INI CET preparation. This includes 4 month in depth study and 2-month for revision work. Based on INI CET cut off a merit list will be released. The merit list comprises name of eligible candidates for the different counselling rounds. Yes, the student can get into JIPMER with 75% in 10th and 80% in 12th. JIPMER accepts NEET UG scores for MBBS admission, and doesn't consider 10th and 12th scores if the NEET UG is qualified. However, students need to qualify the eligibility criteria for NEET UG, before filling of the NEET UG examination form.
