Everything you need to know about KNC.

Placements: I am just entering my second year, so I don’t have much idea about placements, but from what I know, top companies visit our college for recruitment. Our placement cell offers various internships in different fields. There's something for everyone.

Infrastructure: We don’t have a hostel, but our library has three floors with Wi-Fi on each floor. They provide great access to the internet when studying. The classrooms vary in capacity depending on the class and the number of students. There is Nescafé, everyone’s favorite, and the canteen food quality and taste are great. Medical facilities are also excellent. The campus has huge grounds for different purposes, including our famous Chaupal.

Faculty: Faculty is great, knowledgeable, and always helpful in case of doubts. In my personal experience, teachers take their jobs seriously. The curriculum is easy to understand, relevant to the subject, and focused on practicality rather than just theory in necessary subjects. Exams aren’t difficult if you prepare well and pay attention in class.

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure and the timetable.

Placements: An average of 53% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 3.8 LPA, while the lowest was 2.8 LPA. The top recruiting company was EY. About 60% of students interned in companies like The Digital Media and the roles offered were those of assistant managers, and supervisors.

Infrastructure: The classrooms have worn-out chairs and tables. The college has no cold water. There is no air conditioner in the classrooms or even in the library. The cellular data doesn't work, and the Wi-Fi password is kept hidden from the students. It doesn't even work well for our teachers. The labs aren't well-equipped. The library has a good number of books and is spread across three floors, which is the only good thing about the infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. All of them excel in their own field. Since our course is office management and secretarial practice, it helps students develop office skills that enable them at the time of placements. The semester exams were really tough, even in OBE mode. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I chose this course assuming that it would make me industry-ready by teaching me skills. The course is good. The only thing that can be improved about this course is that more emphasis should be placed on practical rather than theory.
