Review of Kirori Mal College.

Placements: There are more than 150 students in our batch. Around 10–15 students receive internships as they actively try to get them. Top roles are from public policy offices and many other cooperative companies that pay very well annually. People also get hired by companies like American Express.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good, but due to ongoing construction, it is a bit hectic, and some classes lack AC, which makes things sometimes uneasy. The hostel is good, the food there is also good, and the cleaning system is top-notch. Security is very attentive at all times.

Faculty: Faculty is cooperative. They do listen to your problems and make sure things get resolved between management and students. Semester exams are not very tough. You can easily get through them with a little bit of hard work. Classes are not very attractive, but teachers can improve a lot with a little extra effort.

Other: It is better to choose honors courses because you get a better crowd there. The fest is good but has more of a mela vibe. The campus is beautiful, with greenery everywhere. Ashoka Lawn is beautiful.

I will always be grateful to the college for all learnings and memories.

Placements: Placements are good enough for a North campus college. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA, and the highest package ranges from 15-20 LPA, depending on the course. In professional courses like B.Com and B.A. Economics, placements are excellent.

Infrastructure: I myself lived in the hostel for all three years of my college life. The infrastructure can be said to be above average, but facilities are really good. The food is very good in the hostel. Wi-Fi is not so good, but it can make one survive on campus.

Faculty: The teaching as well as the non-teaching staff members are quite cooperative. Professors are quite knowledgeable and obviously helpful. The course curriculum is very much relevant to the present-day needs of a student. Semester exams are not that difficult and can be paced easily.

Other: The course provides flexibility among the various disciplines, so I chose it. The campus life is really great. One would have really great memories here.

Infrastructure is good, campus life is best, but what will you do after graduation and not pursuing?

Placements: For courses like B.A. Programme or any other B.A. course, there is no placement as such, but in courses like B.Com (Hons) there is a slight chance of getting placed somewhere, although the package won’t be much more than four lakhs per annum. Only knowledge is provided, which has no role in practical life.

Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, then being a government college, Kirorimal College, as one of the top colleges of Delhi University, you can expect some old buildings, but they don’t look old. The college has halls named one, two, three, etc., for different departments.

Faculty: The semester exams are easy, but you have to write as much as possible with relevant information, as they give marks based on how much you have written, not on what you have written. In short, they judge your answer sheet based on quantity and not quality, so write more related information in your exam.

Other: I chose this course as I thought it would cover everything from all subjects, but I was wrong. I should have done honours in a particular subject rather than pursuing a programme course.

Small things but got high value .

Placements: Placement in this college is excellent, and it ranks 9th in the NIRF ranking among all colleges in India. Almost 80-85% of students secure successful job placements, with the best packages averaging 8 Lacs. Most of the jobs are in the management field and consulting.

Infrastructure: This course is considered the best in the entire Delhi University, and the infrastructure of this college is excellent. The buildings and classrooms are well-maintained, with proper hygienic washrooms. Hostel facilities are also provided, making it a highly sought-after institution. All necessary amenities are available on campus, making it an ideal choice for students.

Faculty: The faculty in this college is excellent, comprising educated and well-disciplined staff members. The course curriculum is relevant and designed to make students industry-ready. The exam levels are moderate and skillful, with a passing criteria of 40%.

Other: The batch and course offerings are excellent in this college, and numerous festivals are organized every year, adding vibrancy and diversity to campus life.

Good Infrastructure. Events and fest are amazing. Official freshers party is excellent.

Placements: I do not know about placements. But this year I participated in an internship interview, which was for all the colleges. This internship is good but the seats are so limited. There are over 3000 students in this internship, but there are only about 150 internship seats.

Infrastructure: So the infrastructure is nice at KMC College. There are Wi-Fi facilities in so many places, which is amazing. Library is excellent. If we are getting admission to a government college, classrooms are also good. The canteen is not so nice, according to our expectations.

Faculty: Teachers are wonderful at this college. Teaching quality is also nice but if a student is from the Hindi medium, it can be a little difficult for them. But we can give exams in Hindi as well but the main focus of the professors is on English. Semester exams are normal. We should not take notes for exams. If you are an average or below-average student, you can get above 5 CGEP easily.

Other: I chose this course because we can study a lot of things, like so many subjects, together. I would like to share one thing: this problem of attending classes regularly is not so easy if you are coming from so far away or from home. Events are nice. Fest and the campus surroundings are also good. If any student is interested in other activities or society so they can participate, there are so many things as well that we can improve our communication skills, leadership qualities, personalities, etc.

Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Final Selection
Admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Selected list of admitted candidates would be displayed on the DU admission portal.
