I love my college. Great experience.

Placements: The placements are good. The highest packages that our college receives are good enough. But the number of recruiting companies is not very large. Some companies do come, like Accenture. But only a small percentage of students get internships because they pick only a small number of people. The top roles offered in our courses are very good. So, I am happy with my college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. Facilities are all quite adequate. The Wi-Fi and labs are great. It is just that our college does not have a girls' hostel, so it is slightly inconvenient and unfair to the girls as well. But the mess, canteen, and medical facilities are quite satisfactory.

Faculty: My per-year fee is Rs. 18,000, which is quite affordable. The curriculum is quite relevant. Our course actually helps us gain deeper knowledge about our field of interest. It makes students industry-ready as well. The semester exams are not so tough. They happen only twice a year.

Other: The fest in college is great. The events and campus surroundings are also really nice. There are many food stores, restaurants, cafés, and gaming areas to enjoy.

Most nostalgic college, average infrastructure, best crowd, and campus life.

Placements: My batch is B.A. programme (economics and political science ) 2023-2026. Very few students (10 percent) got placed. A minimum 5 LPA package is offered. The maximum package is 10 LPA. The average is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG and Deloitte. About 20 percent of students got internships from my course in companies like DeShaw and Bainco. Top roles offered are Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is like a typical government building with much-needed renovation. The college lacks Wi-Fi, and where there is Wi-Fi it is of much lower speed. The classrooms are still better and clean with proper benches in good capacity. The library is very good in my college, and reading rooms have good ventilation as well as ACs. The best part is the college canteen which is very hygienic and provides tasty food. The hostels of my college are good enough as compared to other colleges. However, the number of seats is less. It has good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. However, my course does not make students industry-ready. It just facilitates their knowledge so that they can prepare for further competitive exams on their own and seek career options there. One has to prepare by oneself for further future options. You can't rely on college classes for that. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 33.33 percent.

Other: The course is very related to my career option. My college has the best faculty for this course. My college can improve the research & development part of my course. The college is good at organizing events and fests and is even the most accessible college of north campus. My college is most involved in extracurricular activities across North Campus.

Review of Kirori Mal College.

Placements: There are more than 150 students in our batch. Around 10–15 students receive internships as they actively try to get them. Top roles are from public policy offices and many other cooperative companies that pay very well annually. People also get hired by companies like American Express.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good, but due to ongoing construction, it is a bit hectic, and some classes lack AC, which makes things sometimes uneasy. The hostel is good, the food there is also good, and the cleaning system is top-notch. Security is very attentive at all times.

Faculty: Faculty is cooperative. They do listen to your problems and make sure things get resolved between management and students. Semester exams are not very tough. You can easily get through them with a little bit of hard work. Classes are not very attractive, but teachers can improve a lot with a little extra effort.

Other: It is better to choose honors courses because you get a better crowd there. The fest is good but has more of a mela vibe. The campus is beautiful, with greenery everywhere. Ashoka Lawn is beautiful.

The college is one of the most prestigious and excellent in providing an atmosphere for students.

Placements: A lot of students are placed in my course B.A. programme, for more than 20%, I would say. The highest would be around 10-12 LPA, and the lowest remains the same, 3-4 LPA. Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, ICICI, AIG, Mother Dairy, etc. There are no internship programs specifically for programme courses, but one can avail of internship offers that keep happening in the college throughout the years. Top roles offered are executive director, sales manager, consultant, etc.

Infrastructure: There are good classrooms with good ventilation, labs for B.Sc. students of all courses, and Wi-Fi available in several spaces in the college, like the auditorium, library, boys'/girls' common rooms, etc. Everything is perfect. The hostel is very spacious, clean, and hygienic, with all the facilities except air conditioning. There is a variety of food menu every day, and proper management of everything.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was also good and helpful for students if you focus on your studies. No, just having a Bachelor's degree doesn't make you an industry-ready candidate at all. You need to have some skills that you can develop alongside your course. The exams vary from medium to average and also depend on the course. The percentage remains the same as in other colleges.

I will always be grateful to the college for all learnings and memories.

Placements: Placements are good enough for a North campus college. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA, and the highest package ranges from 15-20 LPA, depending on the course. In professional courses like B.Com and B.A. Economics, placements are excellent.

Infrastructure: I myself lived in the hostel for all three years of my college life. The infrastructure can be said to be above average, but facilities are really good. The food is very good in the hostel. Wi-Fi is not so good, but it can make one survive on campus.

Faculty: The teaching as well as the non-teaching staff members are quite cooperative. Professors are quite knowledgeable and obviously helpful. The course curriculum is very much relevant to the present-day needs of a student. Semester exams are not that difficult and can be paced easily.

Other: The course provides flexibility among the various disciplines, so I chose it. The campus life is really great. One would have really great memories here.

I'm not satisfied with the college, but overall it's okay. You can go for it.

Placements: It completely depends on your skills. Top companies visit the college campus, providing a good opportunity for students. In North campus colleges like Kirori Mal College, you can study and get a good placement. You can add Kirori Mal College to your preference list.

Infrastructure: KMC has one of the best hostels for boys in the whole of Delhi University. Boys do leave other colleges just for KMC because it has the best hostel. Its high demand leads to a high cut-off. Definitely, it's one of the best hostels in the whole university, and boys can definitely consider it.

Faculty: It's good, and faculty members are helpful, but not everyone. In the end, you only need to study, but a few professors are very supportive and helpful. Many of them are aged and their experience is reflected in their teaching experience plus. The curriculum is also good.

Other: Fests are also good. The crowd is very diverse, but the campus is a bit overhyped. KMC lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure, though the academic auditorium is being built and soon will be made.

Infrastructure is good, campus life is best, but what will you do after graduation and not pursuing?

Placements: For courses like B.A. Programme or any other B.A. course, there is no placement as such, but in courses like B.Com (Hons) there is a slight chance of getting placed somewhere, although the package won’t be much more than four lakhs per annum. Only knowledge is provided, which has no role in practical life.

Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, then being a government college, Kirorimal College, as one of the top colleges of Delhi University, you can expect some old buildings, but they don’t look old. The college has halls named one, two, three, etc., for different departments.

Faculty: The semester exams are easy, but you have to write as much as possible with relevant information, as they give marks based on how much you have written, not on what you have written. In short, they judge your answer sheet based on quantity and not quality, so write more related information in your exam.

Other: I chose this course as I thought it would cover everything from all subjects, but I was wrong. I should have done honours in a particular subject rather than pursuing a programme course.
