Candidates who are applying must have cleared their 10+2 with Urdu as per List A along with the selection of any two subjects from List B1 and the selection of one subject from either List B1 or List B2. An additional condition is that the candidate must have studied any language from List A along with subjects from List B1 and one subject from List B1 or B2 other than that from any recognised Board/Council. List A consists of Arabic, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Chinese, Dogri, English, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan, Urdu. List B1 contains accounts, anthropology, biology or biological studies or biotechnology or biochemistry, business studies, chemistry, computer science or informatics, eco, environmental studies, geography or geology, history, home science, legal studies, mathematics or applied mathematics, physics, political science, psychology, Sanskrit, and sociology. As for List B2 we have agriculture, engineering graphics, entrepreneurship, fine arts or visual arts sculpture or painting or commercial arts, knowledge traditions and practices of India, mass media or communication, performing arts, physical education or NCC or yoga, and teaching aptitude.
