Our college is great study-wise. Placements are great, but students need more.
Placements: There is not a great number of students getting placements. I have seen even talented students who couldn't get placements due to a lack of seats. It's totally a heartless competition. Companies like McKinsey, Brain, BCG, etc., come for placements. As for the History Hons course there is no such specific recruitment company.
Infrastructure: In this aspect, Kirori Mal College is better. There is a great library with thousands of books readily available for our course and others as well. Labs are available, but the air conditioning in classrooms is only through fans, which sometimes gets unbearable during hot and humid times. The food is average, not too good not too bad, in the hostel canteen and mess. Medical facilities are not what I have seen till now. However, a sports ground is there with competitions going on.
Faculty: Teachers are great, qualified and knowledgeable about the topic they teach. Teaching is really interactive and happening. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the present needs if taken in the right way, also there are many other subjects to study, such as skills development and vocational skill enhancement, which is totally great for present day needs. Semester exams are fair, to be said, not too hard not too easy. It depends on the one if he can score properly.
Other: I like studying history, that's why I chose it, and I see a great future through my eyes in it. I wish our classes had AC we would have gotten more excited to study than we are today. Events and fests are great, the management sometimes gets overwhelmed but it's still pretty nice of them. Surroundings is peaceful and extracurricular activities are included as subjects in courses as well, and that's great.

Average because of the faculty. Excellent because of debating overall, a good 8/10.
Placements: As the B.A. programme with Political Science major and philosophy minor is a theoretical course, the placement chances are very low. However, internships are available if you are passionate about public policy and research you can have internships under professors. Some professors are very kind and help students in their research work. Organisations like NITI Aayog and the Ministry of External Affairs provide internships for humanities background students.
Infrastructure: Kirori Mal doesn't have a specific department room for the B.A. programme yet. Other facilities like the library are spacious. Almost all academic books that you require for your course are there. Canteen food is very affordable, especially the thali and dosa. College is also active in sports and there is an attendance benefit for those who join regular sports and represent the college.
Faculty: Political Science teachers are good. To make the course relevant, they conduct book reviews and movie reviews for CA (class assessment), which help the students to articulate better and read more about the subject. It does not make you industry-ready for corporate but if you read well, you can go into research, writing and careers like teaching. Philosophy helps you understand the world and increase your critical thinking abilities. On the other hand, Political Science is relevant because you can go into policy-making, international relations, etc. Semester exams are highly based on PYQs, so the difficulty level is average. Faculty is average some professors are so good, while others just don't care.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Political Science but don't want to do Political Science hons. CUET score doesn't allow me to do this either) So I chose Philosophy as it is a very underrated course and the cut-off is also decent for this combination. The best thing I get from this college is extracurricular activities, especially the debating society. It is such an intellectual space, it helps me learn how to speak. How to think in the first place. It will improve my public speaking and logical argumentative skills.

My college is like a combo of everything from a good infrastructure to one of the best faculties.
Placements: Hello, I am Archit, pursuing B.A. (H) Economics from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi and will be graduating in 2028. The placement structure of my college is one of the best in the DU circuit, grabbing the highest package of 24.8 LPA, offering variety in 21+ courses.
Infrastructure: Since my course is B.A. (H) Economics and the classes are held in the main building of our college where commerce and arts streams classes are conducted, there is a separate block or building that is entirely for science. The facilities and room infrastructure are well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in my course. Even on holidays or weekends, they conduct extra classes online to clear our doubts or take up extra questions. They take the curriculum at a steady speed and complete it without a hurry. They conduct weekly tests to assess our understanding of the course.
Other: I chose this course because of its growing market demand.

Review of Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Top roles are in consulting and finance. For econ-specific roles, you'll have to do a master's. Overall placements in our college, specifically our course, are the best compared to other courses. Other BA or BSc students don't get placed anywhere. They focus on government jobs mainly.
Infrastructure: Basic facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are available, just not anything extraordinary. The mess and canteen are good, but sports and games facilities are below average compared to other colleges. However, you'll get access to DU products, so it's not that big of a problem.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and the curriculum is quantitatively rigorous you can't expect to get marks by studying just one day before exams. Semester exams are tough, but people don't fail, it's just that it's very tough to get a full score, and you'll have to study the entire semester.

I am satisfied with the faculty but not with the infrastructure
Placements: It has a good placement rate, with an average package of 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Big 4, American Express, Keventers, etc. It has a good internship rate and job roles like fin res associate, analyst, consultant, etc. Overall, it is a good experience in regard to placements.
Infrastructure: It is not up to the mark. The rooms are not structured properly. They are not painted, and the Wi-Fi signal is also not good. The labs and canteen are affordable but not maintained properly. There is no auditorium, which is also a major drawback for our college.
Faculty: The faculty is truly nice and helpful. They are well-educated, with everyone having a Ph.D. Some of them have graduated from DU. The course subjects are also very good, with Statistics and Math's forming a major part of our course, which can help us become good analysts. Economics also helps in forming good policy decisions.

KMC is one of the top colleges of the North Campus.
Placements: The highest package offered by KMC in the year 2025–26, during the first phase of the placement session, is 26.8 LPA, the average CTC is 9.05 LPA, the number of students placed is 85+. The highest stipend is 1.75 LPA and the average stipend is 70,400.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course, Economics Honours, is not up to the mark. Wi-Fi works on every floor, labs are good, and classrooms feel smaller and are mostly occupied, our classes get shifted to other classrooms or get cancelled. Mess is good and quite affordable. Sports and gym are also great.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. KMC also offers the principal internship scheme and various seminars and speaker sessions to equip us with knowledge relevant to today's fast-paced world. Semester exams are difficult.
