On JEE Main Cutoffs
Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2029

Campus size is too small, but placements and college are decent.
Placements: Around 70 percent of students were placed. The average package is 5 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the highest is 51 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, and Facebook visit the campus. Around 70 percent of students got internships in the Google GSoC programme. Roles like SDE and product manager are offered. In BBA, BCA, and Law, I have no idea, but this college has great opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are old-school and there is no Wi-Fi. Labs are also old. The library is huge. The canteen is good. For sports, only a football ground is available. There is no AC in classrooms. The common room is always filled with people, and there are very limited sports opportunities in this college.
Faculty: Teachers teach well and no classes get cancelled. Teachers do their job sincerely and come on time to class. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry, and opportunities are there. Overall, it is average, and most students pass.
Other: EEE has future scope in the job market. I don’t think any changes are needed. Events and fests are organized, and the crowd is mostly good in the B.Tech branch.

Infra needs to get better. Rest college is good.
Placements: Almost 60 percent got placed. This year, it was decent, though the highest offering was 1 crore per annum, but that is off-campus. If I talk about on campus, it would be 40 LPA, the lowest to even Rs. 50,000, and an average holding of 3 LPA. College do not provide internships on campus.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are in bad condition, no AC in classes, and the infrastructure is so bad that it's so hot there. Labs are decent, they have AC and Wi-Fi, a good library, and good infrastructure, so it's good. Mess food is bad, below-average canteen food is okay, but affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but not that knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okay, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Passing the exam is very easy, checking marks are very easy, and you can easily score well just by learning the night before.

Decent college, just dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 70 percent students passed. The highest package was off-campus, 1 crore. But on campus, it's up to 40 LPA, the lowest could go to 2-3 LPA, and the average is about 6 LPA. Companies are good decent. I don't know the names much. But an internship is not provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms don't have AC there, nor does Wi-Fi work, but labs are decent, they have AC and Wi-Fi working. The rest, the library is good too, well, infrastructure, books and AC, Wi-Fi, everything. Just the classroom is not good. About hostel food, it is really poor quality, canteen food is okay-okay, but it's affordable if it suits your taste buds.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but not that knowledgeable, and some of them hold grudges with students for no reason. Overall, teaching is average, not that good. The course is relevant to the curriculum. Semester exams are not difficult and can be easily passed by studying even the night before.

MIST is simply the NIT of GSSIPU.
Placements: This college has very tier 3-type placements. The maximum you can aim for is 13 LPA on campus, the median is 6-7 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. All the high placements (20-30 LPA+) are off-campus. Companies that visit this college include TCS and ZS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the B.Tech building is quite dated; it's just a big block of brick. Classrooms are also awful, with half of them having fans, and the AC does not work at all. Hostel rooms are quite small, and you have to share them with one roommate.
Faculty: The faculty varies a lot depending on your batch. I unfortunately have a very soul-crushing set of teachers. A few of them are good, but you can count them on two fingers. The syllabus is easy for the most part. You can easily cover your entire syllabus by yourself.

The infrastructure is of a school type.
Placements: 70-80 percent of students got placed through college placements, and the remaining students may get placed through off-campus. The average package offered in the college ranges from 7-8 LPA. The highest package offered through campus is 26 LPA, according to my knowledge. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA by TCS. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, ZS Associates, Zia Semiconductor, Wipro, HCL, and Accenture. In past years, Amazon also visited the college. The HSBC company visited the college this year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are okay. Wi-Fi is available only in the library for students. The canteen is overused because of just 1 canteen. It has school-type benches. I am not in a hostel, but my friends say the mess food is okay, but rooms are small. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are just for fun, as we can play for 1 hour. The ground is small.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and PhD holders. They have theoretical knowledge, but practical or industrial knowledge might be lacking. The CSE course curriculum is slightly similar, but we have to develop skills by ourselves because it is more theoretical. It is helpful if we are preparing for GATE CSE or ISRO CSE. Semester exams are easy if we start studying 20 days before. The Pass percentage is more than 95 percent. In internal marks, out of 40, we can get more than 32 marks easily.
Other: I chose MSIT because it is the nearest to my home and the best, as per my knowledge. If they provide a LeetCode competition, then it will be helpful. Events, fests, campus, etc., are just words here.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is a good college.
Placements: It is good in placement if you are from CSC or the IT department. I am not sure about the electrical department, but it has good companies that offer good packages for both on-campus and off-campus. The placement is up tomorrow, it is good if it is good and placement for the B.Tech courses.
Infrastructure: The Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology definitely lacks in the infrastructure of hostels and labs, library, and classrooms because of its small size. Since it is located in prime Janakpuri, it does not have much space to offer. The Wi-Fi is usually slow, only a few classrooms have AC.
Faculty: The teachers are dedicated to teaching and teach well. The exams are usually up to mark, and study material is provided through book banks. The college definitely makes sure to teach you well.

The admission process for the BTech course at MSIT and JIMS Greater Noida is almost similar. Both colleges accept relevant entrance examination scores for admission to Bachelor of Technology courses. Moreover, both institutes accept valid scores from JEE Mains/IPU CET for admission to BTech courses.
