Good faculty, events, and relevant curriculum.

Placements: The placement rate is around 10–20%. The average package is around 4–6 LPA for Economics and Computer Applications. However, placements depend on the skills you develop during your college years, not just on the college degree. Internships also depend on your skills and communication. There are a lot of opportunities, but they depend on your efforts. Roles such as Data Analyst, Marketing, etc., are offered.

Infrastructure: The library has thousands of books and also includes e-resources and an e-library. The hostel is well-furnished and spacious. The food in the mess is also homelike, hygienic, and healthy. Sports facilities are also available for football, basketball, and volleyball, along with a ground for athletes. A medical room is also available.

Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable, supportive, and qualified. The curriculum is well-designed according to the NEP, including skill enhancement. It makes students industry-ready, but personal effort is important. Semester exams are of medium difficulty, with a high passing percentage.

Other: I chose this course because it is relevant in today's changing world. The college provides me with exposure to learn new things and gain confidence. Participation in college fests and events is very high, and it is one of the best fests organised across universities. Events like Freshers, Garba, Sparkles, and Rhapsody are organised every year. Initiatives like Sugam are the first in the country and are created by our students.

Basic information from a student's point of view about Maitreyi College.

Placements: I was enrolled in the B.A. program in Computer Application Economics. I enjoyed the course, but if I talk about placement opportunities, then it was quite low for B.A. program students. It was mainly for honors students. B.A. program students don't get more opportunities in terms of placements. There is a job fair, of course, in our college.

Infrastructure: No doubt, I will say that my college's natural beauty is commendable, but some renovation and changes need to be done. The gardeners worked very hard on making the garden of the college look so beautiful. But the infrastructure is not so good. The bathrooms of the old building are not good.

Faculty: One of the best things about Maitreyi College is the staff. Whether it’s teaching staff or non-teaching staff, both are so helpful and humble on their end. I understand that non-teaching staff sometimes get so frustrated and behave rudely, but they are also humble.

Other: I enjoyed my course a lot.
