The college is so far good.
Placements: To be honest, I have not yet explored the placement opportunities, but based on facts, the Miranda house placement trend for 2024-25 has the highest package of 2.4 LPA. Our college also has a dedicated placement cell that collaborates with various companies and organises seminars for students interested in higher education. Although I haven't attended any, I have heard a lot from my friends about the intriguing sessions and how they proved very beneficial for them.
Infrastructure: IT is "THE MOST" beautiful, well-maintained, organised and aesthetic infrastructure I have seen amongst all the north campus colleges (yes, I have visited many in the north campus, but None can compare to Miranda). There are spacious, well-equipped classrooms with some of them having ACs as well, and greenery surrounding them that helps focus and rejuvenate your energy, and also a sense of calmness. We also have lifts making it accessible for differently-abled students as well. About the hostel, I am not quite sure as I am not a hosteller and don't want to give wrong reviews.
Faculty: Faculty for our political science department is great. Teachers are really cooperative and knowledgeable. They are ready to help even at the slightest convenience. They know their job, and they know how to convey their knowledge to us in the best manner. Apart from lectures, they also focus on improving our speaking and listening skills which will help in our future interviews for sure. Our Political Science syllabus coincides with many parts of the UPSC syllabus as well, and that's one of the greatest pros. Sec, vac and aec have many valuable courses that will help develop many valuable skills.
Other: I have heard Miranda is known for their political science department, and upon coming, I realised that's absolutely true. The faculty, the infrastructure, the crowd, the exposure, everything is just so worth it. It will make your college life 10 times better.

College is really very good. I am disappointed with Wi-Fi and poor placements.
Placements: Very few students get placed in our course. The highest package is 19.5 LPA. I don’t know about this.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is average. The library is very good. The quality of hostel food is quite good, and the medical facilities are also nice. Sometimes, the quantity of hostel food is very low, and the quality is poor. Sports and games facilities are okay. Canteen food is also fine.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Exams are quite easy, and it is not too hard to pass the exams. The course curriculum is relevant. The course is very nice, and the faculty too, but the teaching skills of some teachers are not good.
Other: I chose this course because I like the subject. Many events are organized. College is very nice. I am a first-year student, so I don’t know everything about the college. However, as far as I know, I have already shared it.

I am satisfied because I have learned many things, and I have become a more extroverted person.
Placements: Our college places around 80% of students. The lowest package is 8 LPA, and the highest package is depending on the type of recruiting companies, such as Dell, EY, TCS, and DE Shaw. In our course, about 70% of students receive internships through the college. The roles offered by the companies include HR and Management.
Infrastructure: Miranda House provides Wi-Fi, labs for scientific research, well-managed classrooms, and a library for study. The Miranda House hostel is nice, but its canteen food is not of very high quality, and it charges high prices. The hostel environment is very nice and peaceful for students to study at night as well as in the morning. It is also a safe place for girls.
Faculty: Miranda House College provides high-quality education and knowledgeable faculty members. Faculty members are very nice and supportive of every student. Our college course curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry-ready. The college semesters are not very difficult. If students understand all the concepts, learn all the units, and attend all the classes, they can pass easily. The overall passing percentage is 98%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in English Literature. The best thing is that it provides high knowledge. Everything is good about this course. In North Campus, all events, fests, and campus crowds are very large. They also provide scholarships to all students.

B.A. Political Science Honors in Miranda House.
Placements: While I am still continuing with my course. The reviews from my seniors tell me that the college provides good placements. But it also provides a strong base. It helps in securing good internships and PPOs. I have a long way to go until I graduate. So all I can provide are reviews and opinions from my own seniors.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are air-conditioned (the majority of them). The library is huge, with a web OPAC that helps you digitally find your book. Personally, I find the canteens (we have four) amazing and economical, each catering to a different need and mood. The Wi-Fi, I’ll admit, is bad across the campus. It works well in some areas and cuts off completely in others. Overall, I give it a 9/10.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced and extremely welcoming. While some may disappoint you, the majority are really good and qualified. The curriculum, however, is outdated. Its practical aspects could be improved and taught in a better way (NEP guidelines). Lastly, the university exams are comparatively easy, as the saying goes, you can never fail in DU. It is the excellence that is difficult to achieve.
Other: The best part about the Political Science Hons course is that it is filled with depth. Societies and events happen every day, and it possibly has the most active society. The crowd is highly competitive and motivates you to be better and push your limits. Finding friends may be a little tough at first, but it gets better with time once you find your vibe.

Overall, it is moderate, but it does not come with expectations. Otherwise, you will disappointed.
Placements: As a first-year B.A. (Hons) History student, I am sharing details based on the previous passing-out batch. Around 40 to 50% of students are placed while many opt for higher studies or competitive exams. The highest package for History students is about 8 to 10 LPA, the lowest around 3 LPA, and the average package stays near 4 to 5 LPA. Common roles offered are research assistant, content writer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel and college is very good, but sometimes the washrooms get blocked. The library, labs, and classrooms are very good, but sometimes the Wi-Fi does not work properly. The food in the canteen is very good and affordable, but the food in the hostel mess is not as good. It is neither very tasty nor very terrible. There is a medical room in the hostel, and a doctor is always present. Sports and games are played in the hostel on weekends.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not like school teachers. The curriculum is academically relevant, though it is more theory-focused and not very industry-oriented. Semester exams can be challenging because they require extensive writing, often 6 to 7 pages per answer.
Other: I chose History Honurs because it is a very popular course at Miranda House College. The best thing about our course is that the faculty is very nice and helpful. However, the course is very theory-based, and more practical exposure would be helpful. The campus is vibrant, safe, and well-connected, with active societies, good events, and accessible scholarships.

    It's the No. 1 women's college in India, with a NIRF rank of 2. It's a tier 1 college.
Placements: We've 10 seats in my course. No idea of a package related to my course, but if someone does a PhD, then she/ he can be a professor, and that's a very good profession. Rather than the professor, you can go for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC CGL, bank, rail, SSC CHSL, etc.
Infrastructure: My hostel is really beautiful, and the food quality is good, better than the average hostel. There are a doctor's and a psychologist's chamber in my hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and I'm Bangali and my course is also Bengali, so I feel at home when I'm with my faculty. Also, there are a few students, and it is the smallest department in our college, so individuals get extra care from the teachers. There are 4 teachers for Bengal. 3 for the core paper and 1 for the AEC language course. As Bangla is available in our college, Bengali students can choose Bangla as AEC. Unlike the other DU colleges, it's not mandatory to choose Hindi as AEC for the Bangalis.
Other: My future goals are something else, so I chose literature for my graduation. Fest is really amazing. The tempest, and there are a lot of fests in our college.

Miranda House, Delhi University does no longer provide the B.P.Ed direction. So, there is no price structure to be had for it.

The college gives other guides like B.A., B.Sc., B.El.Ed., and M.Sc.

If you're looking for B.P.Ed, you can take a look at other DU faculty members like IGIPESS or Lakshmibai C
