The placements are too good for computer branch, moderately good for the mechanical branch, and just okay for ECE branch.

Good placements and campus.
Placements: Placements are average, with decent opportunities for certain branches but relatively fewer for others. The placement cell does make efforts to invite companies, but more industry tie-ups and skill-oriented training programs would improve outcomes. Internship opportunities are available, but students often have to be proactive in finding them.
Infrastructure: Hostel and canteen facilities are satisfactory. Hostels are clean, though food quality in the mess could be better. The canteen offers a variety of snacks and meals at reasonable prices. In conclusion, the college provides a supportive environment.
Faculty: The faculty quality varies across departments. While some professors are genuinely knowledgeable and approachable, willing to clear doubts and guide students beyond the syllabus, others tend to rely heavily on outdated teaching methods and lack interactivity.
Other: A stronger focus on interactive, practical learning and updated course content would greatly benefit students preparing for competitive exams and industry roles as well.

I am absolutely happy with the faculty members.
Placements: I am from the batch 2025. 40% of students got placed and some girls got 2 offers in the computer department, but as compared to the E&TC, it does not have many core companies. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest package is 3.6 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Accenture, coditas, HCL, Vois, and LTIMindtree hire students from the college.
Infrastructure: According to me, the infrastructure is good. There are good and well-maintained labs with multiple components and PCs with ethernet I don't have much idea about the hostel facility as I am a locality.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. Some teachers are PhD holders and others are appearing for PhD. The course curriculum is very good and there are elective options through which a person can build their stream and learn that particular thing so that it would be helpful to them in industry. Exams are average. Almost 90% of students pass exams. They also guide students in a good way.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in it. Nothing should be improved. Events are just amazing.

Try to get into a better college than this.
Placements: Very few placements happened. The TPO was lazy. Mostly, only the CS branch got placed, and that too in small numbers, around 20% at most. The lowest package was 2.4 LPA in the core field, and the highest was 11 LPA for a Data Analyst role. TCS hired the most, offering packages of 3.3 LPA and 7 LPA. The average package was not higher than 4 LPA. Along with them, Bosch and Actalent also hired a few students. Vodafone cancelled its hiring process.
Infrastructure: There was a single library, which was very good. Wi-Fi facility was available only for staff use. Labs were good. Classrooms were spacious and could accommodate 100 students at a time. Some of them had projectors as well. I didn’t stay in the hostel, but as far as I knew, it was good. We had two canteens, both of which were shut down after COVID.
Faculty: The teaching quality was mixed. Some teachers, like Chormale Sir for Maths, were very good, while others were no better than students. The curriculum didn’t include anything that made us industry-ready. Exams were easy, even if you prepared just a day before using YouTube. The pass percentage was rarely below 95–100%, as colleges didn’t like to fail students, and it damaged their reputation.
Other: I chose this college because my relative told me it offered good placements. The college gave a very low budget for extracurricular activities, but we still enjoyed ourselves with what we had. The yearly fest was nice but not as good as those in some other colleges. The campus was small. Connectivity was good, as the Metro line ran next to it.

A Honest review of my college.
Placements: I belong to the Electronics and Telecommunication branch. The percentage of students getting selected for in-campus placements is nearly 60-70%. The average package in our college or our branch is 4.5-7 LPA, and the highest package until now is 42 LPA. Our students get the opportunity for in-campus placements, where companies visit our college and offer different packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Our college provides hostel as well as mess facilities for students, and the hostel rooms are good. You get Wi-Fi connection in the hostel, and the quality of food in the mess is better. On campus, students are also provided with Wi-Fi facilities, and the labs and classrooms are well developed. There are digital boards that help students with better learning.
Faculty: One of the best things about our college is the faculty and teachers. They are so good. Many teachers in our college have completed their Ph.D. and Master's in their field, and they all give 1000% for the students. Many teachers share their experiences with us for our future. Every teacher gives their best.
Other: I chose ENTC because the future is now fully dependent on AI and semiconductors, in which our branch plays an important role. Everything is slowly getting converted to electric, so demand is going to be high and supply is going to be less. ENTC is the only branch from where you can go into the IT sector as well as the core section.

College is good but there are fewer placements.
Placements: Many students get placed in electronic and telecommunication engineering. It is the main branch of the college. The highest salary package offered in 2023 was 12.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered in 2016 was 40 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, and Mahindra visit the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are Wi-Fi, labs, and digital classrooms. The hostel is good but does not have Wi-Fi. The mess is good. There are many facilities for sports. You can easily play sports in the college. There are no limitations.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Exams are held very nicely. There is no malpractice in college. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is also relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult but not very much. The passing percentage is 40% in each subject out of 100%.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is Modern Education Society's College of Engineering Tier 1 or Tier 2?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

MESCE-Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering falls in the category of Tier II engineering institutes located in India. Even though it is a quality college with somewhat reasonable infrastructure. It is not placed on the same pedestal as Tier 1 colleges, like the IITs or NITs. Specialized programs, experienced faculty, and good placement chances are some factors for which MESCE is famous, but not for the generalized engineering branch. Nevertheless, for those learners who wish to enter one of the best universities and be awarded with national status – there are other options. However, MESCE is still an option for a candidate who wants quality engineering training in an environment that does not frustrate them.
