Review of MSAJCE - Mohamed Sathak A J College of Engineering.
Placements: Students always have good percentage in academics in our course. The maximum salary package offered was 4 LPA. Many companies are visiting here for placements like TCS, CTS, Infosys, etc. They are offered the best salary and placements. Internships are very good here, and many students are selected for a job. Many students got an internship in our surrounding areas. All department students got a job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good, like 24 hours of Wi-Fi, mac labs, good classrooms and a big library. The hostel is very good, like good and healthy food and snacks and 24 hours of medical facilities. Our college should give importance to academic and sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are good and talented. Teaching quality is very good. Our college is improving students' communications skills, and they are ready for placements.
Other: I have chosen this course to develop my computer knowledge.

Moderate college to join and get a degree.
Placements: The campus placements for IT-related jobs were very less with only 3 companies. There were lots of namesake companies coming for the campus and most of them were BPOs. The management forced us to attend those interviews in order show up the percentage of the placements for the campus. If the students get placed in BPOs, they will not be allowed to attend any other interviews. We were the first batch to get campus interviews and our seniors were struggling to get a job even after a year. The placement training was provided from our batch and it was not up to the mark. We were not exposed to many of the companies which provide internships. On an average, only 10-15,000 per month was offered.
Infrastructure: It was a wealthy trust to have all the facilities for the college but it was not up to the mark as there were a lot of management changes. The labs were not that great to explore towards new technologies but we had a Mac lab which had no access for students with that easy. Classrooms were not maintained on a timely basis. Initially, when you join as a fresher, you will get biriyani served on the induction day but the day after that, the canteen food will be a horrible one to taste. There were repeated requests to change the chef but due to community concerns, they avoided the change.
Faculty: The faculty members were not that knowledgeable enough to give lectures to the students. Most of them come to the class and then try to give vague definitions to make students accept the concept. There is a poor communication across the institute. Faculty members are not ready to get us exposed towards industry and they were giving lame excuses.
Other: The management should look for opportunities to improve placements-oriented activities like organising a technical symposium, placement training in a better way, communication tests, etc. It should not be hectic for students to attend late coaching classes and punish them for silly reasons like not tucked-in shirts or not wearing shoes.
