Decent placements and good campus life with helpful faculty.

Placements: Personally, I think the placements were good. Around 75% of the students got placements. I've seen that the highest package offered was around 11 LPA, and the lowest I heard from students was 3.5 LPA. TCS and Infosys were some of the recruiting companies, and I got an internship during my pre-final year.

Infrastructure: The facilities were good. We are getting Wi-Fi all around the campus, which was nice, classes were nice, and the teachers were nice too. The environment was not stressful to learn in, and the hostel was fun with all my friends. I was not missing my home, but the mess, as you know, was not that good or not that bad. It was average, but it filled our stomachs.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and supportive. I could easily approach them and clear my doubts, even if I was in the class or hostel. However, some subjects felt outdated, and I felt that they needed a bit more industry-related content. The semester exams were a tad difficult but manageable. I think the pass percentage was around 85 to 90%.

A great college for academics.

Placements: The course has not reached the placement phase but decent companies like EY approached the college for cyber security students. The highest salary package offered in this institute ranges from 2.4 LPA - 15 LPA. The average salary package offered to CS students is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college has a wide range of facilities. It has 9-12 computer labs. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The library has a wide range of books according to the curriculum. The lab facility is also available here. There are 2 cafes and a main canteen. Our college has a very active cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball team. There is also an active participation in badminton. The hostel is also decent. There are separate hostels for boys and girls named Adams House for boys and Even House for girls.

Faculty: Teachers in the CS department are very supportive and friendly. They have knowledge. They change their study plan according to students' concerns. The current curriculum is for 2024 but our batches follow the 2019 scheme. Next year students follow the latest scheme. Semester exams are scheduled and executed as per the KTU order and regulations. The college has a pass percentage of 80% which is the top among the private colleges and 2nd among all colleges under KTU.

Academically good college with great faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) are average. The 2024 batch, for which placements took place, had 196 placements as of now. It has been ongoing as of the day of writing this review. The highest package offered was 12 LPA. Many well-reputed companies like Bosch, Vanenburg, Tejas Networks, and South Indian Bank - PO came to the campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty good. There are many facilities for the students to utilize. There are two academic blocks on the campus. One is newer than the other, and that's the one given to the first years to avoid ragging. That block consists of the office and the administration wing, which is there for you to clear your doubts. Well-maintained classrooms are provided to the students with great ventilation. The hostel is also well-maintained, but the only downside is the hostel mess, which isn't up to the mark.

Faculty: The college is known for its academics and top-of-the-line faculty members. The faculty members are there at your disposal and will be available for you at all times. The college follows the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University syllabus. The only limitation is that you have to learn the subjects of other branches in the first year, which is mandatory. There are two internal examinations conducted by the college, which count towards the final internals of your University exam. The pass percentage of the 2024 batch was 80.37%, which is the second best among the 128 colleges under KTU.

Other: I chose Cyber Security due to the scope it beholds in the future. It emphasizes network security and how to avoid third-party attacks, which is relevant to every industry in the world. There is a tech fest hosted by the college every year, which is exhilarating and in which students from all over the state participate. It's fun, and you meet new people from across the state.
