1. NIFT Mumbai Application Process
Students will have to complete an online application form provided on the official site of the institute and pay the application fee for submitting their application.
2. NIFT Mumbai Selection 2025
Those who submit their application will be then appearing for the NIFT Entrance exam 2025. The final selection will be based on the overall performance in all 3 rounds - Written Test, Situation Test, and Personal Interview. For few courses such as Diploma courses, the selection is done on the basis of merit secured by the candidates in the last qualifying exam
3. NIFT Mumbai Cutoff and Counselling
Students would be shortlisted on the basis of either academic merit or performance in the entrance test (whichever is applicable). After the NIFT selection rounds, the institute will release the cutoff of various courses, and those who score more than the cutoff are required to appear for the NIFT counselling.

If any benefit has been availed, the candidate’s application will be rejected.
Also, if a reserve category candidate is considered for open category, then he/she will have to pay the difference in amount of application fee as applicable for open category.
NIFT Mumbai MDes Admission 2025
NIFT Mumbai offers a postgraduate degree in Master of Design. It is a two-year programme that costs INR 5.9 lakh. Admissions to the course are done based on valid scores obtained by the students in the entrance exam followed by a round of Personal Interview conducted by the institute. To be eligible to apply at NIFT Mumbai for the MDes course, the student needs to pass Graduation from a recognised university.

In 2023, the cutoff for the General AI quota students ranged from 79 to 1029.
NIFT Mumbai follows a thorough screening process for BDes admissions. To commence, students must register and fill out an application form on the institute's official website.
