No, candidates are not allowed to get admission into BTech courses at NDA Pune without the NDA entrance exam. NDA Pune BTech admissions are done on the basis of valid scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by UPSC. Even, the institute does not accept any other competitive exam scores for BTech admission, except NDA. 

NDA offers BA and BSc programme for a three-year duration and BTech programme for four-year duration. However, there is one-year compulsory training programme in respective academies of the Armed Forces after the course duration.

To get admission to NDA Pune, students must pass Class 12 as per the required eligibility. The college offers AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-approved courses to students. Since the courses are approved by NDA Pune, the degree is valid all over India. Hence, the candidates willing to gain Military education can apply for the BTech and various other undergraduate courses offered by the college.
