I think overall the college is good; there are fewer canteens.
Placements: Placements are good. For top branches like CSE and ECE, it’s almost 90 percent, and for lower branches it is around 70–80 percent. In Mechanical Engineering, mostly non-tech companies hire. The median package of NSUT is around 16 LPA, and the highest goes up to around 80 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not excellent. There is everything like a gym and sports complex, but the gym infrastructure is good while it is mostly closed. There are no sports equipment to use, and we have to buy them on our own. Wi-Fi is not up to the mark, and water quality is very bad in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified but are not able to make us understand, and it is very hard to score here. Teachers don’t give marks easily, checking is tough. To get an 8 CGPA, you have to work harder than in any other colleges. The average CGPA for my branch is around 6, and it’s difficult to score marks in my college.
Other: I chose this career option because I am confident about the college and I love doing Mechanical Engineering.

Satisfying campus and surroundings. Good placements and above average infrastructure.
Placements: 65-70% of students get placements. It is great for the core sector. Internships are limited to upper branches like CS, ECE, or MAC. Recruiters are like Mahindra, Tata, etc. The highest package is 24 LPA while the average is 7 LPA - 8 LPA only but you can get placed easily if you work hard here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are great. There is a decent library. Wi-Fi is average, and can be better. There is only one main canteen where you can have many options. Sports facilities are there but you have to find your friends to play because crowd is not much active here. Food quality is not great but can be taken on good side.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are great and helpful. Course curriculum is relevant. Academics are on the tougher side. You have to spend a lot of time with academics. The curriculum is relevant. If you follow everything that is done in classroom, you can get a decent package.
Other: Not much events or fests are conducted. Crowd is average. Extracurricular activities are not conducted.

Do not expect too much from Mechanical Engineering.
Placements: Around 63% students are placed last year. The highest package offered is 26 LPA, the average package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Maruti Suzuki, ONGC, and DRDO in core. Many students get internship offers from DRDO, ONGC, and Maruti Suzuki. Roles offered are Product Management and Product Manager.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good on the side, but the hostels are not good. You can use Wi-Fi only for study purposes. The Library is a silent place that is less crowded. Student activity center where you can play tennis, go to the gym, and have fun with friends. Hostel is just for living. Do not expect too much from hostel food and hostel conditions.
Faculty: Faculty are teaching in English due to more private schools. Faculty are student friendly, they help you if you get Stuck Somewhere and motivate you. Some are good, some are bad, some are very rude. Overall, the faculty is good, and the Syllabus is not too outdated and not too modern.

Great tech placements, decent infrastructure, and growing opportunities for core branches.
Placements: Placements at our college are generally good, especially for CS, IT, and ECE branches. Top companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, and ZS Associate recruit students, offering packages ranging from 10 LPA to 40+ LPA for tech roles. Even non-tech roles (like consulting and analytics) are gaining attraction, with firms like Brain, Deloitte, and EY coming in. For core branches like Mechanical or Civil, placement scene is moderate. Core companies do visit, but the number of offers is comparatively lower. Students often have to apply off-campus or switch to software/analytics to secure better opportunities.
Infrastructure: Campus is well-maintained and expanding. Most academic blocks are equipped with proper seating, functioning projectors, and labs. For CS and IT students, computer labs are well-equipped with updated systems. Mechanical and Electrical labs are decently equipped, though some equipment can be outdated or require maintenance. Library is huge, Wi-Fi-enabled, and stocked with a good number of technical, non-fiction, and competitive exam preparation books. Campus offers a mix of academic and recreational facilities. There are multiple canteens and a food court that provide decent food options at affordable prices. Sports infrastructure includes basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts, with regular inter-college tournaments being held. A large auditorium, seminar halls, and co-working space support various student-led events and fests. College also has several active societies and technical clubs in robotics, coding, automobile, entrepreneurship, and arts, which not only boost your skills but also your resume.
Other: If you are looking for a college with a decent placement track record, particularly in the tech domain, and are willing to put in consistent effort, this college is a great choice. Peer group is highly competitive, and opportunities (on and off campus) are abundant if you take initiative. Infrastructure is improving, and facilities support a well-rounded college life.

The college is very strict about attendance.
Placements: There are actually a lot of students in my batch. Around 200 including both sections in mechanical engineering. Now, there are many options and the college does have awesome placements but programming is necessary for most companies and IT companies. Top companies include Paytm, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The placements have been on the downside for a little while, but they will get better. Not a lot of students get good internships.
Infrastructure: The activities are actually pretty good. The campus is green and huge. There's a really good athletic ground. There are 2 basketball courts and a cricket ground. The library is big and properly air-conditioned. The hostel is also really good (washrooms too).
Faculty: The teaching is actually very good. Teachers are highly qualified. It is important to participate in lab work though. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Not too easy but it's fine. Attendance is a huge issue in the college, they are very strict about it. I would not say that the college makes the students industry-ready. The checking of exams is moderate.
Other: I chose the course because coding is just not my forte. College fest is extraordinary. There is no scholarship but there are certain incentives. Campus is big, green, and neat.

Overall, it is good. At that time, due to market ups and downs, amount of money got some variations.
Placements: To be honest, if you want placement in core, then 6.5 LPA is a decent package, sometimes above 6 LPA is also manageable. But, above 6.5 LPA is safe, and for tech, you need more than 7 LPA. Currently, the average package is nearly 9-10 LPA. Many companies visited, like Maruti Suzuki, HCL, Hero Motocorp, and many. Approximately 70% of students got internships and roles. I don't know much about the roles, but I would say a mechanical engineer. Students also get placed in DRDO-type companies.
Infrastructure: There are almost all smart classrooms in the APJ block in the first year. Smart block, Wi-Fi, and AC are available in the college. The library is also very big, and all books are available, which is the best part. The hostel is strict with timings, and without an ID, no one is allowed to enter in hostel, in that sense, I will minus 1 point. The food is good, but not the best, because hostel food is hostel food.
Faculty: The faculty is good, some are strict, some are not in attendance. In the first year, generally, all are strict. They teach very well. Some courses are sometimes tough, like EMD and drawing-based courses. Semester exams are not tough, especially if you study 20 days before the exam and follow the PYQ. You can get good marks.
Other: Whether you like it or not, it is based on your percentile, because you don't get the course you want, you get it according to your percentile. So, for that, I would not say I am happy, because I am curious to learn about tech things, and I also do not say I am sad. The sports infrastructure needs to be improved. Events and fests are the best in Delhi, like Moksha is the biggest fest in North India. This time, Darshan Raval and Salim Suleman came. There is too much fun at the fest.

Placements are good. Average package is 16 LPA, and the highest package is 2.3 crores.
Placements: The top-class companies come to place students just like Black Rock and Microsoft. Amazon gives the highest package just like 2.4 crores, and the median package is 16 LPA. So NSUT is the best engineering college in Delhi. NSUT building is classic and fully AC.
Infrastructure: The inter-competition attracted so many people to participate in the competition. Wi-Fi has 10 MB speed so completely play online games without any lag. Library has many books just like students have business books and so many books. Mess food is so best to eat everything in the mess.
Faculty: Best teachers are there at the college. My personal teacher of green chemistry has come from USA so that teacher is best. Attendance is passing and 75% attendance rule is there. Those students who do not maintain 75% attendance cannot sit in the exam so please maintain the attendance.
Other: So many students on the campus, BBA master students and B. Tech students are also there. Scholarships are also provided. Various scholarships are provided so that students can participate.

Inside thoughts of NSUT main campus.
Placements: Placements are very good in my college. Being one of the best engineering colleges in India, many companies visit for on-campus placements. The average package is around 10-12 LPA, while for the CSE department, it is around 18-20 LPA. Giant companies like Google and Amazon also visit for on-campus placements and offer good packages.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility in our college is very good, but the charges are quite high. Being a government college, the cost of hostel and mess accommodation is on the higher side. There are two options available single-room occupancy and double-room occupancy. I would also like to appreciate washrooms, as they are well-maintained and clean. I have seen footage of other engineering colleges where washrooms look very bad, but our college does not have this issue and stands out in this aspect. The campus is also impressive, covering around 135 acres with lush greenery, including peacocks and monkeys. Our campus features cricket, football, and many other grounds for sports activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are usual. Some are good, some are moderate, and some are very strict. Strictness depends on assignments, attendance, and other factors. We have six courses this semester, each course with a separate professor and separate lab staff. Our batch consists of 80 students divided into two sections. Each semester includes four class tests CTs, one mid-semester exam, and one end-semester exam. The marking scheme is 50 marks for the end-semester exam, 20 marks for the mid-semester exam, and 30 marks for internal assessments, totalling 100 marks per semester.
Other: The college's location is one of its biggest advantages. It is situated in Southwest Delhi. The connectivity is good.
