The NEST 2025 Admit Card Download Link was activated on the official portal. Before, the release date was June 5, but as per the official notification, the link was activated before the actual release date. The NEST Hall Ticket was published in online mode by NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM–DAE CEBS, Mumbai. Students can check out their allotted exam centre, which is given on their Hall Ticket.

In a situation where a student forgets to bring their admit card, he/she will not be allowed into the NEST examination hall. Students must print out their admit card. Also, bring it on the day of the NEST Exam 2025, which was held on June 22, 2025, along with a valid identity proof.

To get the admit card, students need to fill in their login details, like their registered email ID and password. The Admit Card consists of crucial information like the name, Roll Number, Photograph, Signature, Exam date, Timing, NEST exam centre and more.

Steps to Download NEST 2025 Admit Card

Students must download their NEST 2025 admit card by visiting the official site by following the steps:

  1. Students need to visit NEST's official portal, i.e. https://www.nestexam.in/ 
  2. They need to click on the 'Download Admit Card' tab, and then they will be directed to the admit card login page.
  3. Fill in the application number, i.e. User ID and Password, that candidates get after NEST 2025 registration. 
  4. After logging in, click on the tab 'admit card'. 
  5. Go through the information mentioned on the Hall Ticket, and then candidates will be able to download it.

After downloading the admit card of NEST 2025, candidates must take a printout on an A4 size sheet. Students must keep extra copies of the admit card as it will also be required during the seat allotment and counselling process of NEST.

NEST 2025 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates need to download the admit card 2-3 days before the NEST 2025 Exam date and they should also keep 2 to 3 printouts. Here are some of the exam day instructions candidates must follow before appearing for the exam.  

  • Candidates must reach their allotted exam centre 30 minutes before the reporting time.
  • Candidates must go through the exam session details on the admit card, before the exam.
  • Candidates must carry an ID proof such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driver's License along with the admit card on the exam day.
  • Candidates must carry a blue or black pen.
  • Candidates are not allowed to write anything on the NEST admit card before entering the examination hall. 
  • Ensure not to wear any smartwatch or don't possess any electronic gadget in the exam hall. The candidature of applicants can be rejected at any point in time if any of these items are found with them.

Applicants are required to carry their admit card along with the admit card of class 12th board exam (if they are appearing in 12th standard exam) or they can carry a valid photo ID proof along with them.

Steps retrieve login details for NEST 2025

If in case a candidate forgets to add the login details, there is always the option of retrieving login details to download the NEST admit card 2025. Below is the step-by-step process to retrieve login details again.

Step 1. Visit the official website of NEST 2025- https://www.nestexam.in/ 

Step 2. Click on the “Download Admit Card” link

Step 3. Candidates must click on the “Forget Password” or “Change Password

Step 4. Now fill in your user ID and click on “Get Password

Step 5. Click on “Change Password

Step 6. Click on the “Submit” button.

The hall ticket of NEST 2026 will be released by the exam authority, NISER, Bhubaneswar. The NEST 2026 admit card will be released in online mode on May 15, 2026.  Applicants who will successfully fill the application form will be able to download the admit card by entering their login credentials. i.e user ID and password. 

Q:   What documents will be valid as photo ID for NEST exam?

Candidates will have to report the latest by 8:30 am for morning shift exam, and for the evening shift by 1:30 pm. The entry inside the examination hall will start at least 30 minutes before the examination timings. Any last-minute entries inside the exam centre will be restricted. Hence candidates should reach the examination hall within time to avoid any last minute husstle. 

The first session exam will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and second session exam will be conducted between 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. 

Q:   Do I need to carry photographs along with NEST admit card on the exam day?
A: 

Applicants who want to appear in the NEST exam need to carry an admit card. Applicants are not advised to carry any other document. Candidates need to carry only a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card on the NEST exam day. 

Students need to check all the details mentioned in the admit card. If any information is not correct, then applicants need to immediately contact the exam conducting authorities and get it rectified. 

Q:   What is the reason behind the changed date for the release of the NEST 2025 admit card?

The NEST admit card release has been rescheduled from June 2, 2025, to June 5, 2025, and the reason could be the internal scheduling adjustments by the exam conducting authorities.
