KCET Application Form 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

Karnataka Examinations Authority mentions the KCET eligibility criteria 2025 in the official notification. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the KCET application form. KEA releases KCET eligibility criteria separately for all the courses. KCET application form 2025 will be rejected in case any candidate fails to fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam in all the subjects (45% for reserved category) 

BE/BTech 

Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and obtain a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% for reserved category) 

Q:   My parents names spellings are different in my 10th marks sheet and KCET application form, will this be an issue in the KCET counseling?

A:

Candidates appearing in the KCET 2025 counseling process are advised to have all the documents ready before the registration process. In case of any selling mistake in KCET application form 2025, candidates are advised to make an affidavit in the same regard. The name of the parents in the application form and all certificates should be the same. Karnataka Examinations Authority will not consider applicants with mistakes in the KCET 2025 application form for further admission process.

No, candidates are not required to send the KCET 2025 application form through post to exam authorities. The KEA KCET application form will be available in online mode only. After filling the KCET application form 2025, applicants are advised to take one sprint out of filled form. KEA will not accept any applications in offline mode.  After final submission, the exam authority will send the confirmation to the candidate registered email ID and mobile number.

How to fill KCET Application Form 2025?

Karnataka Examinations Authority has reopened the KCET application form at the official website. The process to fill out the KCET 2025 application form online includes registration, filling details in the form, uploading photos, signature and thumb impression and final submission. KCET application form 2025 is available in two parts. In the first part, candidates have to fill the KCET application form details that can be edited any number of times. In the second part, candidates have to select the declaration after confirming that entries made by them in KCET form 2025 are correct. 

Steps to Fill KCET Application Form 2025 

  • Go to the KCET official website. 
  • Click on “New User? Click Here for KCET registration 2025”. 
  • Fill in the required information such as the 13-digit ‘student number’ issued from the PUE department if you are going to appear in the 2nd PUC examination and then click on the “submit” button. 
  • After the applicants need to fill their name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, security question, and security code and submit the details in the KCET application form. 
  • After successful KCET registration, candidates will receive KCET 2025 application number and User-ID to their registered mobile phone number and email-id. 
  • Candidates should log in to their account by using their user ID and password. 
  • Fill in “Student information” by entering the required information and save the entries. 
  • After that fill in educational details and then click on the “save and next” button. 
  • Then upload scanned images of the candidate's photograph, the candidate's signature, the candidate's left-hand thumb impression and parent's signature in the KCET 2025 application form. 

KCET 2025 Application Form - Final Submission 

  • Candidates will receive an application ID and password to their registered email address after completion of KCET registration 2025. 
  • In the next step, applicants need to upload the scanned copy of the recent passport-size color photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format separately. 
  • Take the printout of the triplicate “Challan Copy” and pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified banks. The bank will retain their copy and hand over the remaining copies. 
  • Candidates can also pay the prescribed fee through net banking. 
  • Take the printout of the KCET application form 2025 on an A-4 size sheet of paper. 
  • Affix a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression to the space provided. 
  • Obtain the Principal seal and signature from the college where you studied 2nd PU or Class 12. 
  • Candidates have to produce the same copy along with the copy of the Challan (KEA Copy) during document verification.

Applicants who make any mistake at the time of filling KCET application form can rectify their mistakes through the correction window. Applicants are allowed to make changes to certain details only during KCET application form correction 2025. The KCET application correction facility 2025 enables candidates to modify the details in the application form. To edit the details, candidates have to log in to their account by using their user ID and password.

KCET Admit Card 2025

Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET 2025 admit card online at the official website. Applicants can access their KCET admit card at kea.kar.nic.in. The login credentials required to download the KCET admit card 2025 are application number and first four characters of name in required fields. Only successfully registered candidates can download the KCET hall ticket 2025. Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. Applicants must note that KCET 2025 admit card is available in online mode only. KEA will not send the KCET admit card through post/email to any candidate. 

Q:   When will the admit card for KCET 2025 be released?

A:

Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET admit card 2025 online at the official website. Applicants appearing in the exam can download their KCET 2025 admit card through the application number and date of birth. Candidates must carry their KCET admit card 2025 and one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. KEA will not allow any candidate to appear in the exam without valid KCET hall ticket. The exam authority will release KCET admit card 2025 in online mode only. Applicants will not send the KCET 2025 hall ticket hardcopy on registered email or at any other mode.

Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET hall ticket 2025 along with one valid photo ID proof. Candidates are also allowed to carry their personal pen/pencil and face mask inside the exam centre. Applicants are advised not to carry any item restricted inside the exam centre.
