The NIT Kurukshetra CCMN cutoff 2025 is finally out for round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to the M.Sc. specialisations, for different categories belonging to the All India quota. For the General AI category candidates, the highest and the lowest cutoffs were 1625 and 278, respectively. The most competitive cutoff was for admission to the M.Sc. in Economics.

If we compare the tuition fees of NIT Hamirpur, NIT Kurukshetra and NIT Rourkela we will see that NIT Hamirpur and NIT Kurukshetra are the most affordable. They have similar total tuition fees of INR 1.4 Lacs for an MBA. Whereas, NIT Rourkela total tuition fee is INR 4 lakh.

Having said that, NIT Rourkela offers the most amount of MBA seats out of the three NITs, as it offers 75 seats compared to 40 and 53 seats for NIT Hamirpur and NIT Kurukshetra, respectively.

NIT Kurukshetra BTech admission is based on the entrance exam. Candidates who want admission must first meet the basic criteria for eligibility and then take the entrance exam. NIT Kurukshetra BTech admissions are based on JEE Main scores, followed by JoSAA counselling. Candidates must secure a 90% or above percentile to get admission to BTech courses offered by NIT Kurukshetra. The basic eligibility criteria to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra is to pass Class 12 with a 75% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
