Candidates must have passed UG Degree (minimum three years) with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, or passed B.E./B.Tech. degree with the mentioned marks or 6.5 CGPA for the General category and 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD students (on a 10‑point scale). Candidates from Open Universities are also eligible provided their degree program is approved by the UGC, AICTE, and the Distance Education Council (DEC) of the Government of India.
