Yes, NIT Patna is a good option if you want to get admission in Engineering programmes. Since it is part of the NITs, it holds a certain prestige and reputation. NIRF 2025 ranked the institute at 53 under the Engineering and 13 for Architecture. It is also recognised by the GoI as 'Institute of National Importance'. Some strong points for the institute include its placements, strong alumni network, and decent ROI. The BTech cutoff varies every year depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant as it depends upon dyanmic factors.
